"So who are you guys with then?" -"The Taliban" Conversation between an ISAF 2nd LT, his Afghan interpreter, and a bunch of random guys, Uruzgan, Afghanistan, 2008. This was while the former two had two LMGs aimed at the latter, not that that's going to save you if you're like 1 meter away from them and all of them have AKs. They were pretty chill guys though. Not the religious fanatics of 2003. These mainly took offense at the local pro-American warlord and his murder of their family members somewhere in 2005. One literally went "Finally, I can go back to the farm, my brother's been nagging me about the crops" when it was explained to them that we're not the warlord, we're not the Americans, and if anybody's killing anybody's relatives we'll deal with them regardless of who they're mates with, so they might as well stop being insurgents. I spent a lot of time visiting relatives in Nuevo Laredo as a kid in the early 1980's. It was always great and never once did we fear any danger as we played and roamed the streets. We haven't been to the other side since 2003 and will never go again apparently. It was a really nice town back then.

They would have to kill me before I would surrender. That's just me. They're lucky I wasn't carrying. I don't miss when it comes to shooting. I hunt wild hogs at night. They would be much easier targets. The adults were in the cars, their kids were the ones trying to get the trucks. Mine had off road rims and tires. They have bad roads so I wanted something to handle the abuse. I knew their is cartel activity within 3 blocks of the immigration. I just didn't know the last turn into immigration. I studied that intersection when I arrived two weeks prior. Every intersection I thought would be ambush point I surveyed the best way to get out.

As you can see at the end of the video when it cuts the driver made a return on bulevar, why?
