Yamaha was kind enough to invite me to the 2020 NAMM show, so I decided to give you all a tour of their booth and show off as many of their products as I could! Yamaha makes so much great equipment it's hard to get it all in one video but I certainly tried! Hope you all enjoy.

What a treat to be given a tour of NAMM. Thanks James! That's why I love this channel - some playing, some reviews of both acoustic and digital pianos, a closer look at instruments while being rebuilt and now this tour. Your enthusiasm for piano is why I subscribed.

Your videos have inspired me back to piano & MIDI-DAW Logic Pro X. I knew very little of the differences between acoustic pianos, esp the different makes and models in relation to sound qualities. I use a Calvinova but, will get an acoustic upright next year based on the knowledge I've aquired from you! I'm 55 but, will condense 30 years worth in 5 once I reach compitent level of fluidity performance next year. Then, I'll share on KZfaq. Thank you for sharing this tour of NAMM, it took us on a journey we'd never otherwise get to experience. 😉👏👏🎹🎹🎹🎹🥁🪕🎻🎺🎷🎸🎤🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶

Great sound and design, flawless craftsmanship, entirely trouble-free, for years. Remarkable brand! (Plus they own Bösendorfer, my absolute favorite...)

Sun Dancer - Ehhh, Yamaha has been the world’s largest producer of musical instruments of all kinds, sizes, and levels - acoustic and electric, for years now. They may make boat engines and other stuff, but their logo is three tuning forks. They also make legendary custom auto engines (see Lexus LFA, tuned like a fine instrument, to perfection)

The first Yamaha musical instruments I heard of were the drums; I just saw the mention on an album's liner notes that the drummer (Steven Ferrera, who eventually became a record label exec but has since died) played Yamaha drums. Up until then I had only heard the name associated with motorcycles although that's a separate company now and the musical instruments predate them by several decades.

What a wonderful show! i'm a bit envious to not be there :) I love your piano tests, description and comparison....full of passion; and when i saw the video about Spirio system, an idea came to my mind.... Why not create a video with a detailed comparison between player systems and which is the best at the moment (Spirio, piano disc, and disklavier). Or in the specific case of yamaha, a comparison between Enspire ST and Enspire PRO... are they substantial different in quality and in features? is the PRO version a worthy investment or is something that only people with a very good ear can appreciate the difference?... Obviously is just an idea about something that is difficult to test "live" at least here in Italy, and i like to know more cause i'm thinking to buy a piano with that kind of system in the next couple of years. See you and many congratulations for your channel :) you are doing a great job!

@@ThePianoforever do you think that pro version is worth the extra money? considering it applies on different models of pianos (so for example dc2x vs dc3x which are the two models on the "borderline" for the disklavier versions). Thanks in Advance!
