Our encore number chosen for its originality and the sense of continuity it brings out in people and because its still a good thing to keep questioning and asking why. In honor of the great Pete Seeger and how he showed the world the power of song - we tend to finish off our concerts like this. Hope you enjoy. This song was deeply emotional as part of my history listening to Pete Seeger as well as Peter, Paul and Mary sing. This message is still unfortunately poignant and we all are singing with you brilliant young musicians. Thank you for your beautiful heart felt sharing.

My girlfriend turned me on to this song a great rendition, I've seen the Kingston Trio several times, my girlfriend had to leave the US for cancer treatment a year ago, she's in Belfast Northern Ireland fighting a uphill battle, I miss my Irish Rose 😥😥🇮🇪🇮🇪

I grew up listening to folk music, though I didn't really understand the meaning of the lyrics of many songs until I was older. This is one of the few songs which will bring me to tears every time I hear it. It's message is just as apropos today as when it was first written. Almost Irish, this was an absolutely beautiful rendition. Thank you for using your talents in the name of peace and harmony. Maybe someday, someone can pen a new final verse the question by saying mankind now understands; we have finally learnt.

Brilliantly adapted to flute, really enjoyed watching the young men inherit probably one of the most influential songs in history that still plays a great part of our lives today

Beautiful version. One of the most powerful songs ever. Heard when I was a kid and it informed me more than much of schooling did. Pete Seeger spoke 'truth to power'. Thanks to this band for continuing the voice, may it be truly heard one bright day.

This rendition makes me year up every time, my girlfriend turned me on to this, she's in Belfast Northern Ireland fighting a huge battle with cancer, she left the United States a year and a half ago because treatment was less expensive, she is doing better but I miss my Irish Rose 😥😥🇮🇪🇮🇪

I grew up in Greenwich Village in NYC. We had assembly on Friday mornings and Pete Seeger would teach us these songs. I still know all the words and verses to this, as well as This Land Is My Land. like most children in our neighborhood we had no idea that these grownups were famous.

Beautiful song folks and excellent performing. I enjoyed it so much. Seeger will be proud of yez. Btw. I used to tour a lot with mij Dutch/Irish band Amadán all over Europe and we were in Danmark and Sweden too for some 30 gigs on a row. Great times.
