Though I didn't mention this on last year's 2019 handbag wishlist, this Alma was indeed actually on it. I was waiting to find the bag in acceptable condition at the right price, and finally found one! The idea all along is to restore it. At the price I was looking for, I knew it'd be a project bag. In any case, I am very pleased!

I sold my Vernis Bordeaux Alma GM, it was way too big. I now have a epi Alma PM preloved. It’s perfect. Thank you for sharing the history of the LV names. I enjoyed your personality. You made the video fun to watch.

Thank you, Painter! Yeah, the GM is HUGE.... I think the bb is cute, but not as practical. PM is the way to go! Did you see my dye job of this one?

@@SCENTGOURMAND I just watched it. I had never refurbished any of my bags. Watching you do it was frightening at first 😉, but at the end it was satisfying. I love the color you chose. Great work!

Love your video, I just subscribed. I have an Alma PM noir and it does look well with the strap on. So as a shoulder bag, it’s okay but because it’s strap is shorter than the BB, it feels uncomfortable as a cross-body bag.

Cheers! Yeah, the PM works better as a shoulder or crossbody, but I still think the aesthetic is better when hand held.

Caramel - my guess? I am going to try to dye a strap that color . . just waiting for the dye to come in the mail. Anyway - Good Luck - any improvement would be great!! Nice!

stuff it with paper or something and wait? (maybe warmth from a hair dryer to remold it? - not sure...)

Hi Fitria. It's from 1996. I paid under 30,000yen if I recall correctly. I usually negotiate with the seller. ;) I dyed this bag a beautiful burgundy. Did you see the video? I love it even more now!
