@@joshuaspikes I work in a bpo company and the meaning was reiterated by our language trainer before. It also means unnecessary or wastefulness from Merriam Webster. It can be the same meaning with "redundant" but when you used two words that have same meaning to make a sentence more appealing, but it doesn't need anymore, that's "superfluous". I hope I answered your question. But you can try to do further research.

That is why there's a saying in music... Never underestimate an artist from theatre. Coz musical actors have the best vocal trainings there is on the planet when it comes to music. Once you are able to enter the musical theatre arena, you will surely get better as you age as a performer since theatre requires artists not just to sing but also to dance and act all at the same time without committing mistakes. That is why singing pop, rnb, rock or any other genres would be easy for most theatre artists. 😉
