Paranormal is one thing, but living, breathing, creepy buggers in the woods at night is something to be genuinely scared of.

My dad once told me, "it's not the dead you should fear; it's the living". He was a deputy sheriff, so I respected that. And while I enjoyed this video, all I could think about was both of your safety. Who knows what kind of folks could've been lurking there, watching you from the dark. I love how Elliot was lost and had no light but stopped right before meeting with Joe to ask if there where any spirits around!!! Dude stop thinking about the video and find Joe lol. Me living in Appalachia- absolutely not. Every big predator imaginable. Nope. The screams for y’all were likely the foxes. ‘Is there a skin walker there that wants to talk to me’ sent me. 😂 pretty sure they’re more into wearing you than talking to you. The fact that you both smelled and mentioned the smell of blood….that was genuinely really freaky.

Always have a spare flashlight, a plan 'b' and a plan 'c. Long range walkie talkies could be helpful, and maybe both of you could have a cat ball on hand, so if you get lost you could keep setting it off, to establish that if it's flashing colored lights, it definitely won't be a vehicle, and you'll know (silently) that it's either your mate . . . or a spaceship. LMAO! 🤣💚.And Joe, I cringed huge when you went off the path.

When Joe feel over the 2nd time all I could think of was Elliot falling over his body in the dark and the screams that would followed...lol xxxxx

Got a couple things to show you guys, so bear with me. @4:39, just after Joe says about 50 ft away from him, he can hear something walking, there's a light to the left of the lit up tree on the right. Actually, there's quite a few times we could see lights in the forest that wasn't the moon - they were far too low. Are there yard lights on properties surrounding the forest?

You really do need to be signed up for a TV series! It doesn't get any better than this episode.

I have to admit this whole thing makes me laugh - but as I am watching these backwards I knew you were both ok lol! are you two city boys? one thing I know about the country is its noisy at night, and badgers are low to the ground and quite heavy!! also foxes are like cats - they make a lot of noise when they meet another fox - they can sound like a woman screaming! skin walkers are a native american myth - similar to our werewolf myth, I'm pretty sure in our tiny overpopulated country they would be noticed! but you still made my day with this one!! the trick to finding someone in the dark - call out every few steps! but as someone was shooting around you before I can see why you were loathed to do it! maybe take a whistle next time! well done though - very entertaining!

The editing and switching back and forth is such a brilliant idea guys!! I really could not go off alone at night in a forest, now that I know how active they really are. Even if it is an animal, what KIND of animal, Hmm?? But where you are from , so many spirits! I am so on edge watching this.. Just breathe...(Had to remind myself to breathe between fits of laughter and jumpscares!) A most excellent job guys! I have to ask, do you have large predatory, dangerous to human type animals there? Our forests in Oregon do not sound like that, although you do hear branches breaking all the time, frogs, crickets and sometimes owls, witches incantations and other types of activities. We have bears and cougars to watch out for mostly, as far as animals go. Oh, and where I live, bodies.

@10:06-10:07, as Elliot pans the camera to the left, a pair of forward -facing eyes (kinda large) can be seen for a flash on the bottom right-hand of the screen. Is that anything to be concerned about? A tip, if you will indulge me: take walkie-talkies with you when you separate on an investigation. 😘 We love you guys and don't want you to get hurt! Very suspenseful investigation which has me wringing my hands! 😳❤️❤️

This reminds me of growing up and knocking around the woods in the night because, growing up in a small secluded welsh village, there was very little else to do! Even after knowing the woods by night like the back of my hand their were alot of very strange things, sights and sounds that would just make your hair stand on end and make every ounce of your being want to get out as fast as possible! Including a spine chilling scream that was heard by several different people at different times! Just so happens that a prostitute was murdered and her body was dropped down one of the old abandoned mine shafts back in the 60's! Great video guys love the content

I love the woods. Would be neat to have someone set up a camera recording either or both day or night, near the woods or in an area or clearing where the camera could simply over and pan about to record everything say like in a 100 plus degree area. For me, even if there is nothing seen, the peace of the area would be something to enjoy.

Fairly new follower of the 2 of you and can’t get enough. Scrolled through your old videos hoping there was one I had somehow missed and , to my guilty pleasure, found this one. And yes, it was the only one I’d missed. Anyway, your vids now always say to wear headphones… and I’m nothing if not a people pleaser…so I always put mine on. You guys should really carry 2-way radios to communicate with each other when you seperate, not saying the batteries in them wont just die like the other equipment but it would really be a better way to communicate back and forth rather than cell service

Another thing to think off when in woods deer won't move if they think u can hear them and run when u do

I have heard all kinds of strange noises.. we were trying to find Sasquatches because they were seen in these areas! It was a bit freaky.
