2005? What a beautiful place. I love a woodburning stove and i could live in the woods ( I actually have and loved it... of course we had modern conveniences, indoor plumbing when the pipes didn't freeze a woodburning stove and we hunted for some of our meat) ... look at that cook stove ... thats a beauty and he is in a log home... Personally one floor is good enough and easier to keep warm. He's a farmer so he has animals too. Probably plants a garden too... He sounds either way way relaxed or lonely. I enjoy my peace and quiet with occasional socializing... the life of a hermit is not normal imo...

2 minutes and 30 seconds is all this wondering soul could stand. This wilderness that my eyes are viewing burst at the idea of crumpling freshly printed newspapers into balls for a mundane look into the seemingly endless depths of fire embers. Only if I were Stoned out of my mind could I endure any more torture.
@cupwithhandles11 жыл бұрын
satirizing Henry David Thoreau - brilliant. We forget the little, yet important talents we aquire with experience, such as paper crumpling. Also, Zeno's paradox suggests you could never stop splitting a piece of wood.

I love your video. it has a relaxing tone and I enjoy your thoughts as if one is relaxing to a story being told. I would love to live as such. I HATE the life today as one knows it. I envy all who has this luxury of a life. I am one who has gotten caught up in this back and forth to work, bills, appointments, deadlines, duties, etc. I dread each day and wish for the simple, quiet life again. I use to have this luxury but you don't know what you got till you leave it, now i want it back.

Here is a video from someone who is obviously gentle and good-humored. Then an anonymous person logs on to post negative personal comments about them based on a 10 minute video. Nature is the most social of all organisms. It doesn't despise or put down any ideas. It just goes with what works. There are a lot of people right now who don't feel that what we have is working.

This film is wonderfull. It makes you want to get away from the noise of the city, the company that has nothing to fuck anyone. Provided that the money is in the center of their lives, people are swinging from everything else. Me it's the opposite ... I want to live away from everything related to money except for food. Like that, we should have nothing person and free to do what you want.. BRAVO ;)

I'm not sure if the narrator is joking or not with that dialogue and the way he's saying it. It almost sounds like he's mocking similar nature programs, either that or he's just a crazy person living in solitude in the middle of nowhere

I'd have to admire anyone who choose this life style in today's concrete society. A return to a more natural world would do the entire human race a great deal of good. I get your meaning behind the video and just decided to look over all the negative comments. The narration did kind of remind me of Robby Benson for some reasons but over all it was a neat video.
