Michael from TexasOutback tagged me asking what are my two favorite knives. I tried to keep it to two and ended up with a few more. These are my EDC knives as well as the blades I carry in the bush.

Marvelous set up! For my neck knife I just use a double slip knot. So that way I don’t have any cordage dangling. But my knife is more of an EDC utility. Because I work on ladders with nail bags and cannot access my pockets or my belt line very easily. So when I need a blade, I just reach for the center of my chest with either hand. God bless!

Great stuff! Really like the golok/machete. You've inspired me to try my hand at modifiying one myself into a shape similar to the British Martindale MKII pattern. Will post a video showing how I went about that when finished. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Jerry

@thenrylee I live in two modes, urban and jungle. The transition takes place just before I walk away from my car. At that point I will have all of these blades within arms reach. One woman, three kids, lots and lots of knives.

"If you had to whittle it down to 2 knives." - good one. So let me get this straight. If you subtract your EDC from your belt knives, carry the machete, and divide by the neck knife; 6=2. Are you sure you're not an economic advisor for the US government? lol. Love your vids. I always learn something. // Thanks for turning me on to Bushcrafty. Not sure why, but he has the most soothing voice. I always feel more relaxed after watching his vids.

Say Heah Colhane, Yeah, I had my Battle Horse Mad Hatter Machete done your way. It's a perfect match with my Modified Attitude a lovely piece of kit. But as far as a Neck Knife. Actually I also have the original sheath I put a #3 Dangler Extention Caribiner that I just put on it. But when I carry it as a Neck Knife I use a Bushcrafter #162 Sheath. It's very loose to take out but straps in it very sicurly. Yeah It's my George K G. E. K. Custom he made me years ago. Yup, it's a small Bushcraft type if knife with a Choil and it's prolly my Fav knife made out of a Saw Steel. But I do have other Fav's. Like my 3V Skookum Bush Tool, Oh, my John Bradley World's Finest Camp Knife. and my Busse Combat Son of Badger. are some of tge top I like. But I do love my other ones too. Infact I used my vintage Blind Horse Bushcrafter with my Estwing Sportsman Hatchet and my Wooden Handle Fiskar Power Teeth Folding Saw. My pocket knife is my British Military Issue Clasp Knife that I untangle paracord and opened my Pork and Beans. A Beauty of Simplicity. Yeah a well functioning Trio. Thanx Reverend for a great video. It's always nice to see you. G. B. Y.,,. p

Nice blades and sheaths! After I saw your video a year or so ago about the Newt Livesay NRGS, I wanted one and contacted Newt and arranged for two to be made for me, both with convex edges. I paid him and its been over a year and I have yet to receive the knives. Ive exchanged a dozen emails with him and it is always one thing or another, but still no knives. Thankfully they were inexpensive, but I would recommend looking elsewhere. Try a Izula 2 and convex it yourself. God bless!

@Smith28Adventure No, I actually don't get out the bush enough. Life has been pretty busy lately. I try not to shoot videos here at home due to the street noise. I only hear it anymore when I'm shooting video. I promise to go out to the bush and shoot video, I have to or I will go nuts.

Mine is in A2 and I'm very happy with it. At the time it was not offered in 3v, only A2 and O1. I don't own any 3v knives so I don't have an informed opinion on that steel. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with the performance of my knife in A2.

Hi, and I wish you a Blessed, Healthy, and Prosperous Holiday(s), I also have a Rod Garcia Skookum Bush Tool, but mine is in 3V, and Tan Micarta, your right, it is a great knife, I carry it similar to your Newt's neck knife, on the strap of my backpack, I have perhaps my favorite bushcraft knife, it's my Busse Son of Badger, it's a 4 3/4" blade, another favorite camp/utility knife is my Swamp Rat INFI, it's the INFI Ratmandu, on my molle attachment, is my Steel Heart, it also depends, sometime my Sarge 7, I don't carry them all at the same time, that depends on the type of trip I'm going on, but also, in my neck of the woods, a machete is not as practical, sometimes, it's a little too light, but my Woodsman Pal works good, but I like a long blade, so I got a Swamp Rat Rucki (15 1/2" blade, 3/16th's thick), it also has a choil, and it work's great in my woods, again, Happy Holiday's.

Call it luck from above, but I'm getting my Skookum Bush Tool in a couple of day's Mr. Rod Garcia is a Prince, I did go with the 3V steel.not only is Rod a Prince , but He's also an Artist to come up with such a beautiful knife.
