Only 5% of the stuff in our universe is made up of normal matter, but that is where most of us put 100% of our focus and attention. This creates an illusion of separateness where we believe we are alone and that when our material body dies, that's the end. We even call this stuff "matter" because we believe it is all that matters.
But, the other 95% of stuff in our universe is made up of energies and a mysterious dark matter, which actually govern our universe, our bodies, our experiences and our lives. This non-material universe can also be called the spiritual universe. As we tap into this spiritual dimension, we start to see how all things are connected, we see relationships, we feel energies, we sense intuition, and we discover the true nature of our mind.
Todd Perelmuter takes us on a spiritual journey, from Aloneness to Oneness, where borders and barriers disappear, and open hearts and open minds take hold. It takes us to a place where anger, greed, hatred and fear cease to be, and only love, joy, peace and gratitude remain.
Todd Perelmuter studied meditation and mindfulness from world-renowned teachers around the world for over 9 years. Upon his return to the States, he created EastWesticism, a nonprofit dedicated to helping everyone reach their highest potential and lead a peaceful, calm, and stress-free life.

Your son is a treasure … such beautiful insight! My son is 8 and we were looking at the trees a couple weeks ago and I told how how amazing they were and he said “mom, what if this is all a dream and when you die is when you really wake up “. I couldn’t believe it. We should all listen to children more. They see the world differently

At 72 nearly everyone is gone including my husband of 45 years and I'm alone most every day with my horses and dogs. Lots of time to reflect, like a movie playing in my head. I find I'm more grounded and at peace than I've ever, ever been. It's startling, actually.

You should read the books from GOD meant for us in our day and time....are you one of those who believe that God went silent hundreds of years ago and will never speak to the human race ever again? Do you also believe that Divine inspiration stopped hundreds of years ago? We have Messages and Answers from God given to us in our day and time.....the Conversations With God books....and one of them is all about Death mostly.....the three stages of death....the Melting into Oneness....the Re-emergence.....the Life Review....and the Holy Inquiry when we are asked "What next?", sharing all our OPTIONS after death.....these are Conversations....with questions from the Author and God's responses.....there is no human being who ever lived who could come up with the most Perfect answers as these, the answers that feel so right, make perfect sense.....

Todd, I am in my 76th year and it took most of my life to know ALL that you just spoke of. However, in all the books I have read, all the discussions I’ve had and all the sermons and lectures I have heard, I have not found anything as simple and comprehensive as this one video of yours. You have pulled it all together and delivered your words in the most calming and beautiful manner. You are born to be a teacher and I value your presence. Thank you 🙏

I wonder how… to some people it’s like they just “know” these things naturally and early, and with some it takes a life time even though the knowledge is in there. I just wonder about that sometimes. My dad is 66 and just doesn’t get it, and I’m 35 and it’s clear to me… and we both had pretty bad childhoods etc. I just wonder what gets in the way for people that it takes so long to realize that the answer is simple…. A change of perspective, a realization. Or maybe it’s not that anything is in the way. He could be happy though., and there’s no way to help him realize.

Very well put Todd... I am in total agreement...Fifty years ago I was on the fast track in the corporate world. Traveling world wide at the age of 29 putting deals together for a major computer company.. ......... Then in the space of maybe 30 minutes all of that changed. I was involved in a very bad boating accident in which my wife was killed and I almost died but was revived.... While I was in the water and smashing against the rocks, I realized I was going to die and separated from my body which I could see in the water struggling.. A classic NDE or OBE. (I knew nothing of these things at the time) I was in the tunnel shooting to the indescribable bright light. The sensation of acceleration was so powerful. It was like being shot out of a cannon. When I arrived in the light I was feeling so blissful and a complete sense of peace and serenity ................ Then I experienced a inner voice or a "knowingness" which said I had to go back it was not my "time".... I tried to stay in that place in the light but to no avail... Next thing I know I'm back in my body having been revived by rescuers who say the accident.. There is more to the story but sad to say, my wife did not survive.... But I can say this. That incident totally changed my life and put me on a very different life path... The goal of material gain left me and I pursued a more spiritual path but even so, I have NEVER been in need of money and have a very nice life style. ........ The fear of death is totally gone... My philosophy for people with a busy lifestyle is to set aside some time to work on being "self aware". Learn techniques to slow the inner dialog our minds are always giving us. This can be done via meditation or hemi-synch technology or yoga or various other methods...... Again... Great video and good advice Todd... Thank You..... Peace :)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story, but I'm so sorry for the loss of your wife. I too lost my other half, but to cancer. Each experience and person really teaches us something. Now it's meaning and experience that enriches my life. The pandemic (I had to shield with my parents for one year) I don't have the best relationship with my Dad, but I learnt to embrace and appreciate tiny moments of joy. To let go of a lot of "stuff"...now I'd like to start again. I love the openness of your words and the peace you experienced, absolutely precious...thank you for sharing.

@@TheThunderlake Yes, traumatic events such as yours often lead to new doors opening to new growth. There are many paths. Stay aware of the possibilities.. Delve into some other paths as they open... Gigong, Monroe Institute, Silva, Meditation... etc. etc.. before I had my incident I thought all of it was a bunch of hooey. But, you do need to be careful because some of it is. And remember you could be vulnerable due to the trauma so use your best means of discernment.

As a spiritual being living a human existence, I've been living alone, but not really alone as my spirit keepers are always with me. As a Vietnam Era veteran living homeless off and on, I've found that this has been a growing and awakening journey for myself. Living simple and doing without, gives me the opportunity to help others and help them on their journey. That is what I do even though I would like a stable housing situation. Give kindness to one another because you never know what that other person is going thru. Namaste!!

It's not that I am destitute. It's just what it is for millions of us out here. I owe no one and am debt free. I had a professional career. The planned recession in 2008 did many of us in. I am presently laying my head down with a roof over my head but will be drifting again 4 months from now. I'm blessed as I am to myself and not having others to worry about. RMJR courage to you and I feel your pain. I lost my wife to cancer 4 years ago. The power of loss is so very profound. This grief completely takes over your mind. Try and find a way to honor the love that you and your wife shared. The pain does not really go away. You will learn to live with it, as I am living with it 4 years later. Try and move your life forward. It’s what your wife would want for you. All things must pass, be kind, be humble as you try and move forward. Try and find some meaning in this new life. You never asked for this and neither did I. And we hope that maybe one day you will see her again. That’s what I tell myself. I ask myself everyday where she has gone? Can she see me? Can she hear me? Life truly takes on another perspective after a loss of a spouse. Try and be strong for you and for your wife, because that’s what she would want for you.

I've seen this over and over, to the point I don't think most people are attracted to a spiritual life path until they've had something that is so traumatic or so difficult as a human to deal with to make them search in places we haven't been taught or wanted to before. That is how my journey started, by having Lyme go undiagnosed for 2 decades causing my health to spiral downward terribly. My spiritual healing was the best thing that ever happened in my life. And still even after people see it, they are still not drawn to that path until the suffering is beyond what they can handle in their own lives.

I also promised my chihuahua when he passed away 2 months ago ( yes, I talk to him every day) that I would take all those steps I've been putting off to help my Spirit grow and fulfill the lessons I came here for and that he and I will meet again after the work has been done...His death was extremely traumatic, and Ive NEVER felt so alone, but I understand it better now...I hope you are healing and I wish you well!

I have ashram experience and a travel broadend mind but only with the now rare expeeiece of finding a cohesive community (very roughly like communities in which our neural homo genus plasticity and development must have been forged ) did i feel at home . Lol. True. I’m there. At the end of my own attempts… taken out of this life where I tried to make good of school, graduate school, career, maybe a spouse, family, having a self and creating …. It just never happened and now I can’t. I’m burned out even though I think I should It’s not there I like to say I want to pick it up again, even thiugh I never could- but I’m a nebulae… an essence. I feel like I’d just like to be a person here…. Like you’re supppsed to be human and grounded in this material existence and if you’re not doing or being you’re still in spirit but that isn’t the POINT of being here, is it? And in my mind, I’m not still…. I am urged to do something And when doing something I am shaky and not there… anxious Want this to change

Followers of sanatan dharma ( hindusm, sikhism, Buddhism, jainism) have known it very well since the beginning. Death of the body isn't the end of the journey. After that, the journey of soul, which is part of that Supreme power, starts. If u want to more about it u can read Bhgwat geeta or u can read Sadhguru's book " Death an inside story " .

'Death, The Great Adventure,' is a book written by Alice Bailey and Djwhal Khul who informed the world of The Ageless Wisdom Teachings. (Published by the Lucis Press/Lucis publishing Company.) "Our ideas about death have been erroneous: we have looked upon it as the great and ultimate terror, whereas in reality it is the great escape, the entrance into a fuller measure of activity, and the release of the life form from the crystallised vehicle and an inadequate form". In the book there is a detailed, deep and esoteric explanation about death and dying from a physical, Soul and Spiritual point of view.

@@kiekko673 well Buddha mastered one out of 114 ways told by God shiva ( the Supreme power) to get liberation or enlightenment. But it's also upto one that what he has experienced. All branches of sanatan dharma can hve little difference but their base nd core truth is same. Buddha said there is no permanent soul . Yes this is absolutely correct because the nature of soul is permanent but consciousness is nt . U can not escape ur karma. In Buddhism it is believe that when someone dies, they will be reborn again as something else. What they are reborn as depends on their actions in their previous life (kamma ). The cycle of rebirth is called samsara and it is an ongoing cycle of life, death and rebirth. Once Buddha said there is no God but in another incident he answered to someone that yes there is God. He always answered depending on the consciousness/ capability of the person. Look if Buddha / Buddhism literally meant that there is no soul then why Buddhists r waiting for Buddha as Maitreya to take birth in kaliyuga ( present era , the dark age).

All the knowledge is already there, we have to find a way to remember it.

Had the opportunity in Alaska to build a skiff. I got lofting plans from the library and sketched it out. Hmm. I met a man with a workshop and combination saw. He said I could build the skiff there. I bought some boards and some plywood. Hmm. Started cutting and fitting and over the winter, built the most beautiful lapstrake, with just 'What should I do today?" Then found real copper rivets in an old box, and out in the tundra, a keg of shellac sitting there! Then a neighbor sold me a motor. It was the most wonderful time. It took me out in the summer twilight with a full moon. Set a gill net near a stream, and down deep in the black water, ghostly green shimmering shapes as salmon snagged up. Took that first catch back home, and gave some to an old Aleut who had told me to 'go build a skiff'.

5:11 This really got to me; the concept of ownership. In Sweden, where I live, we've historically had this idea that society belongs to all, that we collectively own schools, hospitals, nursing homes etc, and that these shouldn't be businesses, but rather public services. I like this idea. Another thought about ownership: I have had an especially hard time grasping when people refer to themselves as "pet owners". Owning another living, feeling being is a vulgar concept to me. I adopted a rabbit (named Charlie) about 2 years ago and I see myself as a parent, not an owner. And as a parent I wish the best for Charlie, and would never abandon him or "throw him away" if I got tired of him. I treat him like family and makes sure that he has a good life. Unfortunately, as a culture we're accustomed to view animals as property, and treat them accordingly. Great documentary! Much love❤ // Nicklas, from Sweden

one has to go through an incident that was deeply personal to reach this realization. I was diagnosed with suspicion of blood cancer. I lost so much blood that my doctors had a hard time explaining. My red blood palettes suddenly went below the average level for an adult. My doctors said I shouldn't be alive. Within 5 days in hospital I was rushed to go for full blood transfusion. That was my moment of realization. After that I took 2 months hiatus in life. Shut myself down to annonimity. Lived in a foreign city where nobody knew me and I didn't speak the language. And I took another 6 months to emotionally recover from everything that had happened to me. It was a very lonely period. Imma different person now. Quiet. Low key. Live a simple life. I'm stronger emotionally now. 180 degrees from who I was before. The total opposite. I'm at peace with myself now.

I thank the Lord for blessings every morning I open my eyes. I came to realize all is one thru experience...my mom connected with me while I was sleeping the moment she passed on, I was with her just as real as anything...my dog, the one who she said I loved more than anything was with her too all joyous, he had passed on 3 yrs before she did. When the hospital called to tell me she just passed away, I was beyond words, but also, my beliefs were changed instantly about what truly IS-REAL and what is important in life. I KNOW there is no such thing as "death", the physical self ceases, but we are all connected, whether we're on this plane or another.

Im currently 17, I’m under the influence of psychedelics, but I finally feel free, I finally understand, after 7 years of consciously knowing that I was missing something I finally reached it, it’s unfortunate to see people finally becoming aware at such a later age, but for the people that wish they could go back in time, I will make the best for you guys, we are all one and we will all grow together. Just be careful on your journey. I was similar to you and very trusting. I learned the hard way that not everyone who portrays as a friend is truly a friend. Be discerning as to who is truly on your side and for your growth. Be smart and be vigilant of whether people behave in a way congruent to what they say. Similarly, when a snake tells you they’re a snake…believe them.

You're this far at 17, quite impressive! Know that you can reach the same destination without psychedelics. Don't get me wrong, they're a gift; but be careful. Use discernment. Your brain is still forming and will continue to do so until you're 25. There's no rush. Go slow. And again, know that everything you need is inside of you. I have had many psychedelic experiences with the power of my breath and mind alone. Explore this, and you'll continue to be lightyears ahead of your peers-

I really needed to be reminded of this today. It absolutely aligns with my own journey & beliefs....but I needed to wake up & stop fussing the small stuff. By 'small stuff' I mean cancer, my Mom & Dad going through a 'pre-terminal' phase together age 87, my brother losing his job at age 65 where he is supporting my parents & they may all be homeless soon....and strangely enough, the thing that gets to me most are my daughters living in a different country & my colleague at work with Asperger's being crazy critical constantly. ....so by some people's standards 'small stuff' would mean a total melt down. Your video/movie today just really helped me put my perspective back into a better, more manageable shape. If you have ever once given yourself the time to ponder & experience the infinite in you, as you, then I'm sure those that saw your video & read my comment will understand. We are so much more. So much bigger. So much wiser. We should allow ourselves the space to feel that everyday. As you describe.... It is our own minds that drive us crazy with so many conflicting, sad, troublesome thoughts. I need to get out into nature more.... As an older person with cancer & a hip problem over the past 3 years....I am now well & better than I have been in 8 years....I really must get out there & just watch & absorb more. Being too insular at home is no jolly good !! Thank you once again. Medicine for the soul.

Each life lives every possibility and connecting to their One. All these conscious versions of me are nurturing and feeding my One at the top of this cycle of lives. We are all born as pure love, pure energy…… we all intuitively know……. We then are “taught” by parents, teachers, religion, work place, society….. these are the layers put upon us covering up the pure love, the pure energy….. we then work through our time in this life to get back to pure love and pure energy. It’s really a funny thing, it always makes me smile. Step back and watch…. You know this as true

Thank you for your beautiful messages. For those who resonated with this I highly recommend checking out Samadhi. It's a 3 part documentary and dives even deeper into Todd's sharing. I had an ayahuasca experience in Peru a couple years ago. I had an ego death where I had complete dissolution of my physical body and NO awareness of any physical surroundings - no floor, no physical objects that i knew were around me. No-thing. It was me, as thought only, in darkness. That was my consciousness. It's who we truly are. It also allowed me to see the energy connection and oneness he describes that is between everything. It was a terrifying yet remarkable experience. Spiritual awakening is a rough road. You are literally 'losing your mind' bc you AREN'T your mind. And yet on the other side, it's the most beautiful experience you can have.

Loved your energy and your teachings. One time while watching a video about the Universe specifically about the Big Bang and how everything was one at some point and then became all after exploding, it occurred to me that the reason us humans feel a void inside is because we have been separated from our original state, which was one and that now we are many, and I thought: that’s why we feel so lost and lonely even in the presence of others. It was a realization that opened my eyes and mind to a deeper understanding, your words are cristal clear to me! Thank you, blessings from Louisiana USA!!🙏

Wow - - - - I really needed to see this. I'm 66 now and have lived through a lot. Raised in a Christian family, but intuitively knew something was off in those Christian teaching from the time I was a little boy. I've experienced many difficult challenges from that boyhood right up until the present. I would not say I enjoyed having those challenges, but I realize that all of the difficulties were what shaped and molded my character to what I am today. Again - I would not have asked for them - but I truly appreciate that they were gifts that opened doors that I never would have know existed were it not for the challenge. It gives me a good feeling inside and out to listen to Todd and feel the affirmation that others know and appreciate the same perspective.

Amazing stuff here Todd, well done, really amazing content and editing. Knowing that the powers that be, do not want us unified, they work tirelessly to keep us separate, they spend millions, maybe billions of dollars annually to make sure we are divided. Through this they confirm their power and profits, with race, age, sex, class, religion, politics, sports, education, even our own history! Every facet of our lives has been hijacked, except for our minds and hearts, and it is there, with the vital help of channels like this one, that we can learn to see clearly and share our vision, to help our brothers and sisters to see through the b.s. I am American, and I have traveled extensively and spent much time in Mongolia, Brazil, Canary Islands, Philippines, Hawaii, Carribean to name a few, and what I have learned most, is that we are all ONE. Don't believe the controlling paradigm and focus on the few differences we have and instead focus on our similarities, which will bring us together.
