I love this painting. I couldn't believe how he created this painting. The first time I saw it I couldn't make out what he was doing. Then it all came together. So many painters make layer after layer until they end up with the finished product. Bill makes no bones about it. He just, in his words "fires in". What a wonderful man and artist. The greatest in my opinion.

Fantastic i could not tear myself away for a second, thoroughly enjoyed watching you work what a very relaxing lesson I feel I've learnt so much and I now have to put into practice thank you so much.

I love watching Bill paint, he's so relaxing yet entertaining at the same time! I can't wait to try out some of the techniques he used in this, I especially love the use of shadows and how he used his palette knife to scratch in all of those branches at the end.
