Hi everyone!
Aloo ko achar is one of the most popular side dishes in Nepal. Alu ko achar goes well with roti, pulao or any other dishes therefor it is popular during marriages and party. Aalu ko Achar is one of my favorite dishes. This potato salad is a bit spicy, sour and tangy in taste. It is very easy to make.
Watch the video til end and follow the instructions. You will be delighted to see the result. Try this recipe at home and enjoy with family and friends. Don`t forget to give us your feedback. Here is the complete list of the ingredients used in this recipe.
List of the Ingredients:
4 Medium sized potatoes
1 large cucumber
1 large carrot
1 cup green peas
1 red onion
4-5 green chili
4 dry red chili
a handful coriander leaves
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
3 table spoon sesame seeds
1 table spoon mustard oil
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon salt
juice from 1 lime

I love it. I must say my first trial it failed big time. It tasted bitter probably overcooked my fenugreek seeds and I did use sesame oil. But today I made another one and didnt put as much fenugreek seeds for me, used sun flower oil and it was perfect. love it now I can make my own and not wait for my friend to bring me some 😋.

This is such a delicious recipe. I thank the ancestors for these flavors in this recipe. If y’all got the soap tasting genes with cilantro, I don’t know what to tell you but the ancestors are not on your side.
