Even if your fears and insecurities are your defects, it's a thing we both share, we're both at times so scared that we're reliant on people around us, for that's one of the huge reasons on everything good we do, we don't fight just for the sake of kill enemies, people fight to protect all that surrounds us, especially to protect our loved ones. Learned helplessness is a trip man

She just couldn't see it. All Beta could see in herself, even as she was escaping from the Zeniths, was her fear of being caught and taken back--not the insane strength and bravery it required for her to risk her very life to get free of the people who'd never treated her as any THING but a tool for fulfulling their selfish ends.
