Alphachef is a Deltarune fangame made by Jonochrome. It is a spiritual successor to Undercook. Alphachef is geared towards players who are already experienced with Undertale and Deltarune, but it contains no spoilers for either game and tells an original story.
All footage and music used belong to their respective owners.
Allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.

Thanks for playing, Merg! I've edited the game now to include your suggestion at 12:43. During development, I thought "your choice didn't matter" was enough to indicate that sparing won't work, but evidently I didn't think that through. We can't all have the foresight of Toby Fox, ha.

I agree, not everyone can be as clever as Toby Fox. But all together it's still pretty good with everything, and the music is nice too. So, all in all, Good game in my honest opinion. But my opinions usually come out half baked (pun.) but they always mean well.

I'm so happy to see more unique Undertale/Deltarune OC's like this come from the fandom. I honestly don't know why in a world of monsters everyone wants to make a sleleton OC

2:55 I would say it depends on perspective. In UnderTale, the player has the ability to influence the course of the game and the quality of its events more than in Deltarune, but that’s just the player’s perspective. But as a person, in UnderTale, the player doesn’t even exist in the story, so this is always out of the event. However, this is the other way around in Deltarune, as a person at the end of the game they can see that the player was all the time just the soul that controlled Kris. In short, the player only played as Frisk in UnderTale, but the player controlled Kris in Deltarune. Or at least I saw it that way.

Fun fact: roach’s dialogue during the beginning of the fight actually tells you which attack he’ll do. “Let’s get cracking” - egg attack “Too late to chicken out.” - chicken attack “Pain cakes” - pancake attack

Maybe there is a secret ending if you don’t heal at the beginning. Maybe you should try that. The fight didn’t seem to bad so a no hit should be too much to handle.

Wait.. I just noticed.. Archo has an A and an R and a C and an H and an O.. And so does Roach.. but they swapped r with the A and the O with the R and the A with the C and the C with the O and the h with the O. Granted, if you swap it like that you have to have to have swapped the original letter that was there, not the one that is there after swapping the first, second, third, or fourth time. So in conclusion, Roach is an anagram of Archo, because Deltarune is an anagram of Undertale. I understand. Heh, thats a funny easter egg.
