Here's an amazing fact, to do with "Carrie" (1976). "Carrie" is iconic in every respect, from its begining to its end. The tragic story of an abused outcast teenager with telekinesis taking revenge on her high school prom struck a major cord with viewers, but director Brian De Palma had one final trick up his sleeve to terrify even Stephen King himself. To film Sue Snell's nightmare scene, actresses Amy Irving walked and moved backwards, and reverse motion was used to give the illusion of her walking forwards. When Carrie grabs Sue's arm, that really was Sissy Spacek buried under the stones. Even with the book it was based on being a best seller, Stephen King was doubtful that the film would work, and only gained his confidence when he and his wife attended a screening with a completely black audience. Two men sat in front of them screamed their lungs out and grabbed each other at the ending.

Robin Williams made it clear to Disney producers that he did not want to have the genie in the marketing of the movie of Aladdin. But they broke that agreement so Robin Williams had like a lawsuit as well as did not work for them for some years because of it.

The original artwork for the Genie in Disney's Aladdin,he was going to be purple and wore a turban. They decided later that all the good guys would wear blue and the bad guys red,so the Genie was redrawn as blue.

Disney was mad at Robin Williams during Aladdin because he refused to quit doing Ferngully and tried to sabotage its filming. They thought Robin Williams would quit Ferngully when they offered him Aladdin but he refused. In relation they put the Genie in advertising against Robin Williams wishes. Disney and Robin Williams didn't work together for years after. I am personally glad that we have both the Genie and Batty but I like Ferngully better then Aladdin.

The Crow: The most iconic scene: the first look at The Crow makeup in the window with lightning... was not Brandon Lee. Early CGI took the face from an unused scene to paste on the body double. That body double fell in love with fight choreography while filming scenes to make-up for the tragic loss of Brandon Lee. He fell so in love with it, he went on to study film making and directed a little film series called... John Wick.

Not all of Quentin Tarantino's films link up really. In Kill Bill volume 2 Michael Madsen dies by a black mamba bite, and in Reservoir Dogs he does by being shot by Mr. Orange. And Uma Thurman is a mob wife in Pulp Fiction, then basically a ninja in Kill Bill. Django has nothing to do with any of his other movies, and so on and so on. Still loved the list👍. Thanks for your hard work guys❤.

Almost any stick was instantly a sword. You had to find a good one, of course. Those wooden stakes used for landscaping or construction were perfect! I stumbled upon your videos not long ago. I love the 25 Facts videos. I'm sure since I've just found them I'm behind that's OK it just means I won't run out of them soon. I am watching Mind Blowing Movie Facts. I have to agree with you on a few of them. Quentin Tarantino is a rather odd person I've only seen a few of his movies. I'm sure I'm going to upset a few people on this one. Pulp Fiction was a rather strange one. I'm my opinion this is how I seen it. The beginning of the movie was the end, the end was the beginning, and the middle had nothing to do with it. That's how I feel about it. Here's one fun fact for you that you might find funny. You talk about the movie Up. Well in there all the dog named Dog says Squirrel and look around. A few yrs ago I found a stray or Abandoned dog. Not sure if he's a German Shepherd Husky mix or a Husky wolf mix or a German Shepherd wolf mix anyways while looking for his owner I put an ad out about a found dog. I even wrote some of it like it was coming from him to his family. Every once in a while I would put the word Squirrel or make a reference about Squirrels. Sadly his family never came to clam him and he became part of my life. When trying to find a name for him that fit. He/me got online and asked what a good name for him would b. Everyone hands down voted for the name Squirrel. Like I had thought a dog would say how they do in the movie up and that's what they might think of. Ok sorry for talking so long I just thought it was funny that youd talk about that movie. Keep doing what your doing its awesome and very interesting

Also, Ladyhawke’s writer, Ed Khmara’s, research included an actual eclipse that occurred in the year 1239. The path of totality went through the southern Alps, where the story takes place.

Having your face licked by a cow is not an easy job. Cows have a very rough tongue, even more abrasive than a cat’s. They do have a thick saliva with a lot of mucus that would help work as a protective layer, but as a ruminant animal, their tongue is rough to help shred the grasses they survive off of. I bet that guy’s face was pretty raw by the end of that Foley session?

Some of these I did know. I did know all the Exorcist stuff. And about the bees. And about Henry Cavill’s mustache. And the Jaws stuff. And the Jurassic Park stuff too.

So the guy who made Pacific Rim had the "original idea" while walking along...it's Robot Jox meets Godzilla.

Not being snarky, but what do you like Mike? Besides harry Potter, that is. Speaking of HP, there were Hersey products around Halloween all based on HP. I geek squealed in the grocery store when I saw them. Man, I need a life...

In the exorcist movie the “serial killer” only murdered one man… the other men were pinned on him because the guy he killed was gay and there was an actual serial killer going around killing and dismembering them, throwing them in the river. The man he killed was more out of passion and was not dismembered. Either way he did kill a gay man but only one.

Heh, actually now Beetlejuice is set to have a sequel. edit: for my movie fact. Robin Williams didn't appear in the Aladdin sequel due to a tiff between him and Disney because he'd asked to not be a "featured character for marketing" and Disney (of course) ignored this and did it anyway, causing the actor to decline working again with them until an agreement was reached prior to the 3rd movie.
