S-Bahn Band's new official music video: 'Alpenhorn Ballade'.

In July 2017, Richard Tyce, Jim Hopson, Alex Flock and Johnny Villarreal of the S-Bahn Band hiked 2km up Cypress Mountain to the Bowen Island Lookout. We carried over 300 lbs of equipment, including: a drum kit, a guitar, 2 accordions, battery powered amps, cameras, and a Swiss alphorn... no Sherpa in sight. We portaged across the snow banks, narrowly avoided being eaten by a bear, and then spent the day filming in the hot sun. We literally put our blood, sweat, and even tears into this project, but the results speak for themselves. Enjoy!

I didn't know alpenhorn music was a thing. This song is lovely! And...beautiful BC is beautifully captured in the video.

Beautifully played.! You crafted out an emotional and entertaining piece of music by hard graft and creativity ( the setting just blows you away). Denis Armitage was my uncle, and I feel absolutely certain he would have been stunned to hear this version. Bravo all.!

Ich spiele selbst Alphorn und frage mich die ganze Zeit, wie lange ich nach diesem Anstieg gebraucht hätte, um einen längeren Ton auf die Kette zu bekommen... Fetzt! Perfekte Kulisse und überhaupt,geil!
