He knows every dimension of the bus, to the mm. You can tell because he is chilling in the front seat. Those hard at work behind the wheel need to focus more because insecurity takes a lot of energy.

Good use of the retarder instead of constant use of the foot brake. Saves them from over-heating especially on the hills. Lovely scenery.

Voith hydraulic retarder, an experienced driver can use it for braking saving the normal brakes

It's not the light switch, it's the retarder (to avoid using brakes).
