Destination Twin Lakes Monashee Mountain Range in British Columbia Canada. I packed up my hammock gear and headed for the alpine. This backcountry campsite is breathtaking. Unbelievable views and scenery, and not to mention, it sits at 7000 feet. The hammock gear was a gamble, but I managed to get a nice hang in a remarkable location nestled between the two lakes and towering peaks all around. Nothing beats hitting the trail in the great outdoors and heading out on a solo adventure into the peaks of some gorgeous mountians. Hammock camping is really starting to be my preferred method it's just too comfortable to resist. I really enjoy hiking and backpacking in the monashee range. There are numerous backcountry locations there, and I'll be hitting another one soon to come on the same mountain range but a different chunk of the mountain.
