Situated in the North East part of Victoria is Alpine Shire, which is part of the Hume region of Victoria. Cleanaway has strong connections in this region for a long time now and rule a large part of North East Victoria. One of their few contracts in this region is Alpine Shire where they run just two trucks to service the shire. One for Recycling and the other for Garbage. Cleanaway secured this contract in 2014, previously JJ Richards was running it for a while using older 2350G Acco's. Seems like new trucks were not purchased for this contract when they got it and I'd say over time Cleanaway has probably swapped the trucks around although now I reckon they have two set trucks for Alpine.
I didn't know what to expect but I had gotten a heads up prior to my visit that a couple of older Superior Pak Raptor Acco trucks were being used. Initially I was expecting to cross paths with an old 2003 to 2005 Acco Superior Pak but the Euro4 Raptor was good enough to film, even these older Euro4 units are becoming harder and harder to find today. Unit #135 was the truck that was being used for Recycle, I dare say its come from another contract in Victoria but predominantly
most likely been a North East based truck. Don't see a lot of Raptors with the longer bodies but good for Recycling, can imagine the tail swing though on these... The truck that was being used for Garbage was a 2016 Euro5 Acco GenV. These trucks also don't run out of a big Cleanaway yard and are parked up in one of the towns within Alpine Shire.
