I think new Alpinestars gloves wear slightly larger than the old ones. I wear GP pro r2 in size small, and when I bought GP pro R3 in size small they were more like medium. Nowadays they wear like RST, one size larger than other Italian brands.

Should i go for these or the sp 8 v3? Whats the difference?

Good timing as I have a pair of SP-8 V3 in my hands now for a future video. The SP-2 V3 are more substantial and also more flexible. They have the hard scaphoid protector, more accordion panels for flex and the armour sits on the lifting panel to make it easier to make a fist. The SP-8 are good gloves, but the SP-2 are a level up (and also £30 more). Thanks for getting in touch and I hope that helps. Cheers, Tony

Can sp2 v3 be used on a race track like for track days and stuff.
