What's Ghost of Tsushima?
"In the late 13th century, the Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan. As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands as one of the last surviving members of his clan. He is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima."

I absolutely loved learning more about samurai culture through this game. I think the intro left a very big impact on everyone who had an opportunity to play it, probably one of the best ones I have ever seen too! (Hence why it made me tear up haha!) This game enjoys beautiful scenery and analyzes the hearts of the characters. This game is like watching a movie. Flashy actions are not made top priority. I hope you enjoy this game. Jin's delicate personality seems to be Japanese.

At the end when you asked why he part ways with her is because the Mongols were searching for him and he's drawing them away from her and once he did he would meet up with her. Also if you wanted it leaves room open to go find some allies to help save your uncle.

I wouldnt say they were gonna try to defeat them- ofcourse they were gonna give their best- and if they HAD killed their leader like they tried it woulda hurt the enemy- but as you see from Jin saying 'today I die for my people' - they never had any illusion they could win- or even survive.. But as Samuri there was no way they were gonna not fight just because they were guaranteed to loose.

I was wondering why the sound and the lip movement weren't completely matching up! Even checked my settings! It is quite sad cause it's based on Japanese culture too! I'm really enjoying it though and I'm glad they have Japanese with English sub as an option 😊

I wouldn't recommend playing the game in Japanese, unless you understand it. The cutscenes are great with it, but it's a distraction to have to constantly look down at the subtitles when playing. At least that's my experience 😁 And yeah, this game is beautiful.

I completely understand where you're coming from and I mainly considered it to make it easier for the viewers, however I am a massive fan of anime too so I'm pretty used to reading subtitles while watching things play out! ^_^ and it gives more of an "authentic" experience in my opinion. But completely up to how you want to play it!! It's beautiful indeed ^_^

Beukie, I really cannot stand to hear English on a foreign movie or game! Japanese is such a beautiful language and English is blah compared to it. You can't get the real crux of the emotions and English speaking voice actors don't do it justice. It's your choice but you seem like an intelligent young woman who can read and control at the same time.😂

@@kuroneko7022 My friend, it's not about intelligence, it's about breaking immersion. English is not my native language, so I'm no stranger to subtitles. But when I play, I don't want to constantly look down from the environment and action to read what everyone is saying. The game unquestionably sounds better in Japanese, this I agree with.

@@gizmonomono Subtitles hardly break immersion for me. I played the game in Japanese and saw some streamers play it in English. I have 0 regrets. I think some of the English VAs (not all) are subpar compared to the Japanese VAs. With how quickly one can read, glancing makes little to no difference in enjoyment, immersion, and exhibiting the wonderful animations and graphics in the game

I really loved watching and listening to you on this game! It seemed like you were watching a film instead of a game - it's absolutely stunning! The game is epic and as someone who is a Japanophile and has visited Japan and studied its feudal history, the samurai code is portrayed beautifully here - they really studied the history. Also I loved watching your video because unlike the guys, you're not screaming and cursing like an idiot with stupid outbursts.😂

It does feel like a film in a way, but the cool thing about these kind of games is that you are literally playing the main character so it's almost like you're the main character in a film! Happy to hear you love it too!! I've always wanted to visit Japan, it's at the top of my bucketlist! Hahahah thank you. Just throwing this out there, but: 1). The game was made by an American studio, so it's probably intended to be played in English. 2). Your reactions are slightly sooner than the gameplay shows. Not sure if you can fix that.

Hiya! Thanks for the feedback, always appreciated! It's just that when they gave me the options to play in Japanese, I thought it would give the story more of an authentic feeling. It suited the story better for me so that's what I went for! I mainly would have chosen English to make it easier for viewers to follow ^_^ but everyone should just pick whatever they feel best with! Or most comfortable with. I'm sorry that happened, it should not be like that in the other parts of this series, I don't think I can fix that for this current video but it should be alright for the next ones! Thanks for letting me know though. ✨

Haha that's okay! I made one ASMR video on this channel, in combination with a horror game. However on my Dutch channel I have tried doing ASMR yes! But regardless, welcome to the channel ahha!

No FEMALE gamer chose the other end ( Sparing the FAMILY i mean ) and i watched ALL, i mean ALL. After watching other play though did but that was for sources not for fuel to the fire ) , these players call for empathy towards them but the LEAST emphatic towards others. Remember the Sensei " Don't be like me !!! Family is most important ". And Jin already broke the honor code to SAVE LIVES now you wanna kill for honor lol. Are you really serious, if anyone has played they kind of know it or i don't know how you think lol Beyond my comprehension but i do respect your decision ^^!!!!! Basically family is Expendable .

Start a reaction channel and react on Indian movies trailer. Sugarcoat everything and boom within months your all channel will start growing (subscribers gonna increase). Don't believe me? Try it then just as an experiment. You can also watch other people reacting on Indian Bollywood movies here on KZfaq and growing immensely... So what's the harm in trying?

I think it's definitely a different experience. I think for your first experience of the game it seems like the go-to choice to go for colour instead of black and white, but I find it really cool they provided the option. Especially the hint to Samurai films is nice to see! Most people seem to prefer English but I've really been enjoying the Japanese version so far ^_^

Hi! I just wanted to clarify that I am not a native Japanese speaker and I asked for the viewers to correct me and tell me how to pronounce things when I mispronounce them, as I do find it really important myself. Living in an English-speaking country while originally speaking Dutch has definitely shown me that it is difficult for people who speak different languages to pronounce things correctly but there is no harm in correcting them respectfully! I feel like "butchering" is a bit harsh, I'm only trying my best and I've been told the right way to pronounce it in the comments which is great and makes me happy! Unfortunately I already filmed a few episodes mispronouncing it but I told them to make sure to do it right in the new ones. Have a lovely day! 😊✨

@@BeukieGaming Pronunciation is insignificant. Many have struggled pronouncing the title of this game. As long as you're enjoying the game, that's all that matters. You're doing an excellent job. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work. You're amazing!

The Japanese dub in this is dreadful unfortunately, the English voice actors are a million times better.. would definitely recommend the English instead for sure

Aww really? I have been enjoying it so far but that's probably cause I don't actually speak Japanese! I'm going to stick with Japanese until the end probably but I'll keep it in mind for when I play it in my own time!

Beukie Yeah for sure, it’d be weird to change now haha, it’s just odd how the lips don’t match up to the actual words spoken, and it’s super high pitched and very anime, for a game that’s supposed to be pretty dark and sad.. you’ll love the English version.. and because it’s one of those games you can play over and over again, you’ve got a good reason to :)

How can you play it in japanese language? It is annoying that I have to read for understanding, loosing the focus on the graphics. Sorry....bad choice. Stop to watch

I grew up with subtitles so have always been used to it. The game takes place in Japan so I will always prefer to put in the extra effort to experience things like this in their authentic language, it added more to the overall experience and emotion for me and it was nice to honour my Japanese audience this way. Maybe a bad choice for you, but the best choice I could have made for this Let's Play 😊 but it's okay to have your own preference! Hopefully you find what you are looking for.
