Eerie how father's and son's voices were so similar. You listen to Eddie and you hear Gerald, same deep expressive soulful voice that seems to emanate from the guts . Eddie , thank you and your super-talented sons for providing us with great music over the years. I feel horrible over the loss of your sons, may the Lord grant you strength to deal with this pain. Eddie, Gerald and Sean Levert are my all time favorite singers. Their soulful sound always gets inside of me and I end up crying. I have been a fan of Eddie since the Ojays. He has a special place in my heart. Whenever the Ojays came to town, I would be there right down front. Then came Levert and I had some body else to love. Sean and Gerald. I knew that I would be a fan forever when I heard them sing . Reminded me of some else. When I found out Eddie was their father, I went wild. When Sean died my heart broke for the first time. I grew to love Gerald more and more. Loved it when Eddie and Gerald started singing together. But when Gerald made My Song he stole my soul. I will always love the soulful sounds of the LEVERT family. Keep on making music Eddie. I'm a forever fan. Love you.

Myself had a little thing as well with prescription pain meds, so I know what that poor man was going through. It was the grace of God and my wife to set me free. In 2006, Gerald, an accomplished R&B singer, died at the age of 40. Two years later, son Sean, also an R&B artist, died at the age of 39. Eddie Jr. is currently the CEO of Levert Entertainment, a record label headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

I have enjoyed the Ojay's and Gerald Levert I still love his music because all the songs have a meaning and tell a story about his life. I know he was love by many, you train your young men just right. Job well done Mr. EDDIE BE BLESSED CONTINUALLY.
