Very nice video. Yes, it indeed does appear they started into what was thought to be the correct direction, but, was deemed as not, hence why the gas station seemed a good "U-TURN" point.

Jesus Mtz It appears they started going in the wrong direction. The turning radius on that type rig isn't the best which is probably why they cut through the gas station to reverse direction.

Als means advanced life support a basic ambo might be fit with bls, basic life support.

Whats' the difference between ALS ambu and normal ambu?

There are ALS and BLS ambulances. I think if I recall correctly, BLS responds to calls that are "less life threatening". ALS responds to calls like cardiac arrest, heart attack, ect. I could be wrong though.

Emergency Response Norway ALS = Advanced Life Support. The rig normally has at least one Paramedic on board. BLS = Basic Life Support. The rig is staffed by Emergency Medical Technicians. Both are "normal" and both respond to medical emergencies. ALS rigs are staffed with much more highly trained personnel who can also administer certain drugs under doctors orders. Generally speaking BLS rigs are used to transport medically stable patients while the ALS rig goes back into service. In the U.S. you will not find a Doctor responding to an emergency medical call in an emergency vehicle.
