I love this one because the translation is almost litteraly and the song is still amazing. This one made me cry when I saw it for the first time. Trijntje played Maria and sang this for her son, for the people who didn't know that yet 😉

The Passion is a yearly event in The Netherlands which plays out the last days of the life of Christ (around Easter). Every year it is organised in an other city. The lighted cross is caried around in a procession and ends on the center stage. The singers "play" for example Jesus, Maria etc and they tell the story with Dutch songs (or translations). All live! Some songs/acts are recorded ealier in the day but everything is live. Not studiorecorded. I know you are swamped in requests but if you find the time please react to Tommie (do you remember him from Barcelona), who played Jesus, with Ik Val. The lyrics hit me really hard. Trijntje did an excellent job with lots of sensitivity projected into the song, Brava.

This was filmed in my hometown Roermond in the Netherlands and she sang it live.
