never gonna happen, that old video was viral outside of the touhou and otaku community, fucking CNN featured it because it was so huge. luckily the japanese are beginning to realize that people like their shit outside of japan and are starting to market themselves here. one can only imagine how youtube would look right now if they actually realized it when songs like this got huge back then.

このpv曲は2009年の曲であり、このプロモーションビデオ作者のは当時のピクサーと同等だと言えるくらい高い技術を持っていて、この動画が１番最初に投稿されたニコニコ動画という動画投稿サイトでは多くの人にスポットライトが当てられた歴史に残るべき作品である。このようなCGプロモーションビデオは、MMDなどのソフトでは当時再現できない、フレームレートのブレまで繊細に再現しているためMayaやBlenderなどの専用コンピュータグラフィックス作成ソフトにしかこの映像を製作れない。それをもとにして考えると、Blender 、Maya、他類似ソフトウェア(X3dなど)が使われていると仮設が成立する。 当時の技術でのニコニコ動画はMMD動画ぐらいしかなかったため、これほど高クオリティな曲とpvは多くの視聴者に刺激を与えた。このことから、ニコニコ動画愛用者には多く広まり、この動画が忘れられる日はないだろう。

なんかマジで泣けてくる。すごい没入感だ。もう100回以上は観てきたんだろうと思う。うごくメモ帳で観て、ニコニコで観て、今KZfaqで観ている。Alstroemeria recordsさんのEDM作品がまず神だし、キャラのチョイスやアニメーションなど、観た人誰もが魅了されるものがあると感じる。しかも原曲が東方旧作というハイセンス具合、旧作の知名度に大きく貢献しすぎている。

Oh my god i grew up with this song. Helped me cope with all my depressions. Now back at 2021 to rewatch it and tell myself that whatever i have gone through, made me who i am and i do not care if im good or not. Love the message of this song!

Discovered Bad Apple as a low quality swf on /f/ around 2009. I thought it was incredible, and when I realized it was Touhou stuff, it was twice as good. Instantly addicted. And it's still incredible. Glad it got uploaded in all its glory.
