I read yesterday, I remeber this because I saw Dwight D. Eisenhower's speech at college and how he warned about the dangers of the military industrial comlex, and I heard a fraction of it in the intro. Abraham Lincoln was worried and voiced that worry about what would follow if the United States of America became to familiar/friendly with a foreign power. He said it would create bias, blinded and misguided loyalty and therefore corrupt politicians and the political system in the U.S. He also feared it would lead to unbrigdable division within U.S society. He was also, as well as many of the founding fathers of the U.S, against this two party politicals system for similar reasons, curroption and divison within U.S society. I am not from the U.S, I know quite a lot about the U.S and the political system there. I also know how respected these men are to many U.S citizens both "sides" respect these men just like many citizens respect the founders of their countries. Everything both men warned and worried about came true. I am not claiming the U.S has more corrupt politicians than other countries, the only difference is that the U.S is the only super power in the North-western part of the world and nations tend to follow the U.S, in blinded and misguided bias, and because of fear. Most of us know why Japan was nuked, it was a flex and a show of superior strenght and power. That is why so many governments in other countries fear nothing more than the anger of the U.S twoards them. Anthony Blinken threatened to stop all money flow to the U.N if the ICC wouldn't leave Benjamin Netanyahu alone, that would force the U.N to stop many humanitarian aids like the World Food Program. It doesn't stop there, many congress men have threatened the prosecutor and his family as well as everyone on the committee and their families. I wonder if these men are aware of a small fact here, the U.S has 450, known, army bases in 36 countries all over this planet. And that is only because the governments in these countries allowed the U.S to have those basis in their country. I think the U.S government has grown arrogant and feel as they can bully everyone into submission. I would love if countries would return the favour and cut all ties and draw all support to the U.S government and force them to get those army basis of their land. I would love to see how the U.S would do without any allias besides israel, as the U.S government feels as they can push everyone else who dares to go agaist their wishes around, like veto us in all U.N voting in their blinded, misguided bias to israel. This is not a criticism of the U.S public, I know the difference between governments and the public. I've always disliked and destested U.S foreign policies, I remeber watching Collin Powell standing before the U.N summit with false proof of Iraq was creating and developing nuclear weapons. I remember Sadam Hussein let the U.N look everywhere for these weapon to prevent the invasion, nothing was found. Bush came up with another lie. I was as a young teen on live t.v when the U.S were bombing cities. Powell, who is dead, said he regreted this deeply, I am sure he did. So many U.S allias voted against this invasion, it didn't matter the U.S did it anyway. Who had to take all the refugees in after this? Not the U.S. Are the U.S taking in a loy of Palestinians refugees? I am sure the answer is NO. My tiny country is taking as many as we can, as we should we are a part of the U.N that created this mess and we are allied with the U.S that are making this worse every minute now. Wow, I guesss I wrote an essay, I hope my professors would be proud.
