I wish someday there will be reeditions of their stuff, I only got an album (7 years ago !) and it's really hard to get. More authentic than the Hu (those surreal chants !!), even I do like them too.
@niets4214 жыл бұрын
The Hu is nice but surely they are advertised a lot. If bands like Altan Urag, Nine Treasures or Tengger Cavalry(RIP Nature) would have had the same advantage, it would be totally different for Mongolian music on international basis

Mongolia has a wide range of every type of music genre- tradidional folk songs, throadsinging, long songs, metat, hip hop, rap, classic music etc... and also many cursy but lovely songs ^^

I'd also recommend Tengger Calvary, Tyurgen Kam and HasSak. Not all of these are Mongolian but the Central Asian and Siberian scene in general is quite interesting.

This music is breathtaking and beautiful. Perhaps some of the most brilliantly composed music in the world, especially compared to modern music in general. I deeply appreciate the deep almost heavy metal rhythm section, accompanied by the beautiful orchestral work, as well as the deft execution of the experimental rock aspects, such as the voice. For a moment I thought I was listening to the Mars Volta. Someday I'd like to find someone who could translate this wonderful music to me, both lyrically and its cultural meanings.
