Thank you for sharing. Thank you for your service. I hope the Church will improve the service by providing head cover for the bakers to wear during the process

I am catholic. It's very yummy even though no sugar being added.

What is the equipment used to process the batter into a thin sheet

The ovens. You saw the lady pouring batter onto the plate and the top comes down and bakes the batter. I used to make communion hosts as a Carmelite nun. We did it differently from these ladies, but the baking was the same.

This is often done by enclosed nuns. I am just curious to know if these Seculars (i am OCDS too) do this as a paid job or is it voluntary in their spare time?

I was a Carmelite nun and baked communion hosts, so I was surprised to see lay women making them.

My wheat is almost ready for harvest. We had the idea to make some altar bread for our parish, but this looks so sophisticated. I hope it turns out right!😬

Anti-Pope Michael’s Mother could’ve learnt a lot from these Nuns 😂
