I am now 81 Years of age and was an Altar Server for many years but somehow gave up , I am also a Eucharistic Minister but during the Pandemic only have Sick Calls to attend to I found I wished to recommence my Altar Serving, My Parish was very kind to me and allowed me to join the Archdiocese of St Steven and to serve again, It has brought me great joy.

I was an altar server from the ages of 9 to 13. Helped me stay faithful to my catholic faith.

Not a single bow made by the servers. They should always bow and if not holding items genuflect if the Blessed sacrament is present.

The servers are not ON the altar - they are ON the Sanctuary, serving AT the altar.

Why aren't the altar servers bowing when crossing in front of the altar they are supposed to I have been an ultra server for about 20 years and it is different where I live but I just wanted to know that.

How come there're only 3 altar servers? And I thought there are chairs at the altar for the priest and altar servers to sit during mass?

Servers should bow when entering going up the altar and going down of it. Pretty important detail that was forgotten here.

In my country women can never become altar servers but they can be readers for the mass
