Sweet!! I learned this technique 25+ years ago in a multi-media librarian class at Texas Woman's University, to make diy slides/overhead transparencies. We used warm water to soak them- the key is not to rub fast but to try to 'roll' off the paper in layers gently. Some mags have so much of the clay white base that the ink is printed on, that the paper just kind of slid off. Another fab page!!

Heya, loved the packing tape tute! I used to do all my transperancies this way, until I learned your 3 coats of Mod Podge technique. But, after watching this, I loved how you sanded the shiny-nes off the tape. That sheen part always bothered me, so I am glad you demoed that bit in here! Love how you have been cranking these yummy videos out my friend!! Your Tops!! And the last part of the tute was interesting as well....watching you glue on the triple leaves and then glue the page into your book.

Leaf skeletons are so beautiful, I just love them. I like the packing tape transfer because the tape protects the image. I love the way you can see through the image too, lots of possibilities for this type of transfer. Blessings 🙋❤️🌿❤️

Pretty cool! What’s crazy is I have that same exact Fearless image I had printed out I think a few years back. I look at it all the time waiting for and idea to strike to do something with it. But, it’s printed out on ink jet. I’ll either go make a copy or maybe I’ll just try the one I’ve got and see what happens! 😊 thank you for the inspiration

hi lorrimarie, I love the videos. Question, in a more recent video I saw you had used adhesive spray to mount the packing tape into your books, and here you used mod podge. Do you have a preference? does one tend to dry clearer, or "cleaner" so the image is more visible

I can so relate to your son's sentiments and yours!

I was taught to soak the tape with the image on it in container with water for a few minutes then you peel the paper off of it.

Hey, LorriMarie, NEVER enough vids! LOL The trick with this is to put the whole page in a PAN of water, let it soak for a bit, then it rubs away easily! OH, you just said that. Really, it works, go ahead a give it a try with something you can lose. You'll be surprised! Karen. 😉
