You did great. Love the textured look of the bags. I also liked it when you pulled over the pocket to glue and I thought the music sheet side was the pocket. Thought that would look cool too. ❤

A folded up wet wipe works well as an ink pad with reinkers. Then you just use a few drops and throw the wet wipe away when done. Its also fun to use the inked wet wipe afterwards to smear ink on a paper. It's a cool mixed media look.

Hooker’s green was introduced around 1900 and is named after Mr. Hooker. He created the color by mixing toxic gamboge with Prussian blue. Over the years the mixture was replaced by a stand-alone green dye. Courtesy of Google. Nice recovery from the spill. Thank you for keeping it real.💜🐞

I love mixed media too! I don’t do it as often as I should. It’s so much fun! I know who you are referring to. She does digitals for Scrapbooking with me crafts and Melina Pylant. They also create their own digitals. I can’t believe someone would say she wasn’t a little person if she’s a member. Some people are so rude. You overcame your disasters beautifully! ❤❤❤❤ For personal reasons, I can’t watch Teri’s videos or be a part of it, but I will gladly watch yours for this collab. 🥰

I appreciate that you share your mistakes. Gives us different perspectives on how to come back from it. So often people will just give up and chuck their work, when you can pretty much salvage most things if not 100%, then to a certain extent. I really enjoy how this project is coming along. I’ve never done an altered book… I really need to try that. You have been so busy!! I hope you get good news from your doc. When do you leave on your trip?

How do you get gesso off a brayer?

You can use a wet wipe, or wash with soap and water immediately. Do not let it set to dry if you want it to remove completely. If it does dry, HOT water and soap should do the trick. Just be careful not to burn yourself.
