I was asked to make some of these for a customer and she winded up liking them all so I thought I'd make a video before they were gone.

Oh, I love your style! Your journals and file folders are adorable!!! Yes, I would love a tutorial! I want to also take your new class coming up---I would like your opinion on something please. I have my mother's old wedding dress. Mind you, it was during WWII, so silk and satin were rationed because parachutes were made with these fabrics. Her dress is mainly tulle (so is the long veil) with covered buttons. Instead of it just sitting in a box, I was thinking of using bits and pieces in things such as journals, that way everyone gets a small piece of history and my mom's dress. Would this be dreadful to cut it up? (none of my relatives , kids or grandkids want it) What's your opinion on this. Thank you, Cindy

Regards to your mother’s wedding dress I always like to think that the intentions that you have to use it in a loving way and share it is better than having it sit in a box and have nobody love it at all. You are giving it new life so I say bring it back to life and use it tell a story, start a new chapter❤️

@@robindudleyhowes Thank you. That's what I was thinking. I want to leave my 4 granddaughters one of these journals and use my mother's linen's , lace, doilys and wedding dress . I just needed someone else to validate cutting it up. I know the first cut will be hard, but truly, the intent of my heart is to spread some joy with the things she cherished. Thank you so much!
