Hi Josh, I have had this question a few times over the last 30 years or so. You will not find a reputable charter company of any type allow single handing. This is predominantly that insurance will not cover it, and almost every fleet is composed of yacht owned by individuals and leased back to the charter company. In all honesty even chartering to a full crew is a big risk, for many reasons, but single handing s charter boat increases the risk exponentially. You might find a private individual who is willing to charter to you, but they will not have proper charter insurance and the risk to you is higher as well with a private individual rather than a professional charter company. Not really, I have retired and it has been three seasons since I was last there. My briefing should do you well! The only things that may have changed are the names on the restaurants.
