The best part about this is: Adolf Hitler never happens. It kinda shows you that, where things start to change (when Paul Hindenburg never became President), that in a way the everchanging dynamics of the relations in Central Europe return as well. I could go on a deep dive on the matter but suffice it to say: in the end, things still get worse before they became better. Germany regains the Emperor as head of state, and something similar to the European Union is formally formed, a bit like today's Germany.

This is one of the best alternate histories yet. And my country also got it’s etnic borders. ( Netherlands 🇳🇱) So i’m dubbel happy. Plus a strong central Germany that can protect Europe is great. If that were true all European nations could just focus on our economy’s. And not even the Russian bear would dair to toch europe and propperly join the economic zone unlike in pur own timeline. Witch would make european country’s more open to eatch other in technological matters. Meaning we would keep snowballing faster than any other and keep our prominant position.

@@dorikkugure1270 You can't forget the other stuff. (The Holodomor and the Gulags). While yes, He did help defeat the Germans in WW2, industrialized Russia, etc, he still did bad things. Nobody can be perfect. Everyone, even leaders, have done their fair share of bad things.

@@TheT-90thatstaresintoyoursoul Right, except Stalin didn't do any good things that weren't incidental. (Fighting the Nazis, his erstwhile allies, only after they attacked him first. Not that he was vital in the military success anyway. Continuing the industrialisation of Russia, which would have been insane to try and reverse and served his purposes more than it helped any Russian citizens, etc.)

The Kingdom of Bohemia was a state under German rule throughout the 20th century. in this alternate reality. When Bohemia became independent at the end of the 20th century (I can't remember) the Kingdom put laws in place to protect the country's German minorities. I found that a little more realistic, a Germany a little less expansionist towards the end of the 20th century. In this universe the German Diaspora is larger and more important.

ah cool, un héritage familiale ? Un des mes collègue avait trouvé une boîte dans une petite rivière pas loin de chez lui ,à l'intérieur il y avait des grenades et une baïonnette allemandes datant de la 2e GM.

@@vincentbj84 J'ai de la famille prussienne puis allemande, des cousins qui d'ailleurs a combattu dans l'armée impériale en 1914. C'est chez mon grand-père. Il y a donc ce billet, plusieurs pièces qui datent du Saint-Empire, un florin notamment (des années 1760). Euh, il y a aussi une croix de fer, et d'autres croix que je ne connais pas, et une statue en marbre de Guillaume II. Et un jour, j'en hériterai moi même du coup. Je trouve ca vraiment impressionnant quand je me relis.

@KAISER PIXNETY La famille de mon père vient du Sud-Ouest de la France et d'Espagne, et la famille de ma mère est plutôt Germanique (Suisse, Autriche et Allemagne pour ceux dont j'ai une trace historique).

@@corentinkaiservonhohenzoll9114 moi j'ai une tirelire des années 30, qui représente la face Benito Mussolini, mon arrière grand père, que j'ai connu était un immigré italien qui fuyait le fascisme et qui à combattu en France, cette tirelire appartenait au seul membre de droite de la famille de mon bisaïeul; et au final elle atterri dans ma chambre lol.

The USA didn't declare war on Germany just because of Germany's submerine policy. They declared war because of the Zimmerman telegram which said that Germany would help Mexico reclaim lost territory from the US, from there the public demand war.

17:13: Why, in this scenario, should the Grand-Duchy of Oldenburg and the Duchy of Braunschweig be dissolved and form the State of Lower Saxony along with the Province of Hannover? In reality, this happened in 1946 by force of the British occupants, which never happened in this scenario. The same goes for other unified states. And why should Berlin be excluded from Brandenburg, which was as result of the German division which never happened in this scenario.

@@vincentbj84 Administrative reorganization? The German Empire was a confederation of independent countries, each with its own military. For a reorganization, you have to displace the local ruler. And since the German states all had a line of succession, that seems very difficult to remove an aristocrat from his rightfully inherited rule.

@@vincentbj84 Yes, after WWI, nobility was abolished and all kingdoms, duchies and principalities became free states. But in your scenario, the monarchy was never abolished.

@@Nikioko Yes it was, after WW1 the weimar republic was instituted and the states reorganized. It was only a few years later was the monarchy reinstated. Rewatch the video at around the 1920~ and you'll see
