Not really since he's assertive, accepts his own choices and utilizes available resoruces. The other kid will struggle for years with self confidence, independence and resourcefulness because the parents do not let him make his own mistakes and suffer natural consequences. In fact, statistically Angie's kid will be paid more, given more promotions, and have more success than the kid with strict parents. But theres also other factors like innate industrial ambition, IQ, and emotional stability that play a key role. Not every guy is a man child.

nothing is set in stone we are the captains of our own destiny, you don't know how someone's going to end up, those we assume will crash and burn often don't, and this single little look into someone's life doesn't actually tell you enough about them to actually know anything. @@kimmiewise1044 I feel like it can go many ways, we hardly saw into the life of either child and you made a whole prophecy out of it. You can judge some things for sure but I don't think you can truly get that much out of what you see. I can say this though, there's a balance to how strict and lenient you need to be as a parent to have the most successful of children, and even then it may not always work. All the people I grew up with parents that lenient, are really struggling to get by and take care of themselves. They were never scolded or taught to take after themselves, never learned the life lesson that everything gets handed to you if you just ask. Now on the other side, my friends that grew up with too strict of parents, myself included, are struggling more with mental health. I'm smart in what I need in life, got straight A's, but I struggle deeply with my emotions and anger a lot stemming from how my parents treated me growing up. I only had one real balanced friend, she still struggled ofc but she had the ability to make her own decisions and still would get reprimanded if she did stuff wrong. Which she never did because she respected her parents.

The "Eww" in front makes all the difference... Think about it... She had to work to be able to buy you food and then she had to work to prepare that dinner and then you go "eww" like it's something disgusting... On the other hand if you go "Mom, I'm with my friend/s can we please have some pizza today", that will get you pizza like 80% of the time.

The "strict parent" is the one who actually teaches manners and educates the child in this video
@naughtyninja94942 жыл бұрын
I mean, the ordering pizza part was the only actual rude part. Also, babies are blank slates, they get good manners or bad manners depending on how they were raised and from things they experience in life
@twit35372 жыл бұрын
@@algumacoisa1232 depends on how strict tbh. Theirs strict that is firm yet fair and then there is abusive strict. Usually the later js done using violence, intimidation/threats and excessive control which while may teach manners jt can also cause the kid to become a doormat or deal with sode effects/mental health reactions of childhood trauma as an adult. Like you can get no privacy, locking your door can get it taken off, can get hit or beaten for not following every rule to a T, excessuve questioning for being slightly late getting home, excessive amount of chores that MUST be done, isolated from friends (not allowed any friends/cant go out of house besides school or work), etc etc. All of this can also encompass 'strict' but is also abusive. Strict but fair parents (Authoritative parenting style) an raise kids with manners, parents like this (permissive parenting) can create chaos/no boundaries or rules or border on neglectful parent which also affect kids mental health later in life for a variety of reasjns and strict abusive (Authoritarian) parents may raise kids with manners but those manners are out of fear adults or those in positions of power and the reprocussions for any slip up
