Excellent info , used this on my Parker frontier rollerball which was sitting idle for sometime because of the costly refills . UF-Navigator refill was Rs 80 last year , almost doubled now . I was using Pilot V7 and fountain pen instead . Actually the ultra-fine navigator refill can be refilled with Pilot hi-tec ink too , but ink refilling in things not designed for that is always a messy job . This is a way better solution , and I can shift between black & blue in a jiffy too . Liked the colour of the reynolds racer blue ink very much . Going to keep the frontier modded for this permanently now , Thanks a lot .

You can just use secnieder one business roller ball pen it is refillable you can use any ink of your own choice you can get it in .3mm nib size .5mm and .7mm instead of wasting your time in refilling non refillable pen

I have a Parker galaxy roller pen with 0.5 fine tip refill. Can I use the navigator ball point refill in that pen? Will the top of the refill pass inside the grip section of the galaxy?

Unomax geltron 0.7 and Cello classic gel can also be used in the same way . They both have a plus point since there is no ridge or stopper in the refills.

I just used a blade to shave off the ring, making it level with rest of the refill.

I think you mean the normal navigator(non ultra fine). Both navigator and ultra fine navigator are interchangeable, only difference is that their writing thickness. So this hack will work for normal navigator too.
