There was a Dragon article that converted the Star Frontiers races to Alternity. It occurs to me that putting the quick play rules in there might have been a nod to the original Star Frontiers boxed set that included a Basic Rulebook and then an Advanced rules book.

I only just heard of this recently and ordered the PHB and GMG both within the last 2 months. Of course you did a review on this too!

Oh man, that game was killer.

Alternity is the one rpg my roommate liked. She liked it so much that she even tried GMing it. For a non gamer that says something. She really loved Dark*Matter for it. The best X-Files not X-Files rpg ever made.

I played in a Alterinity Mass Effect Game and we had a blast.

Always wanted to try it but never got the chance. I've still got the starter set box in the geek room.

I found this game an interesting read, couldn't get traction with my group
