Was recently at the park for Scarefest and took my friend on Hex for the first time. His face was hilarious throughout, but it also made me realise how good the music really is, it really does complete the experience

this has got to be my favourite theme park soundtrack, and I think it gives off such and eerie yet grand feel which is exactly what Hex needs :)

Cannot get enough of this theme. Asked my 5-year-old son what my favourite song was.... he says it's Toploader: Dancing in the Moonlight. And Hex. Based on my listening....

We tried to do all the rides at Cbeebies Land during the School Holidays. Crazy queues!

To me personally hex might be underappreciated though many fans love it I truly do think it is the defining ride that makes alton towers its loyal to stafforshire folklore

I’m sad they aren’t opening Hex for 2020, as of now. It’s always a highlight of my trip their to go on hex

4:16-5:11 This part is the backstory of my Alton Towers OC based on the ride, Hex: Legend of the Towers, Hexagon, or Hex for short. (I UPGRADED THE STORY OF IT WILL MAME SENSE OF THE MUSIC) Hexagon lived in a castle, Alton Towers of course, she was trapped with the doors to her tower not opening. Her queen is actually evil and puts dynamite outside of her window and forces her to die to reunite with her pain. And then, the queen pushes her to the edge of the window, causing her to fall down and explode in the dynamite, killing herself. And after she died, her sides were ragged, and after she got recovered within the tree in chains, she could hear sounds of angry men chanting that caused her memories getting blank of hearing of what she had done to her. And when she went back to her tower, it was all rusty when she waited for the curse to finish for many days. And then she was seen stuck in the vault, which was sealed for 2 centuries, and even worse she has a chain and chain ball connected to her ghost tail, making her never escape. But she uses her ghost powers to make the chain to be part of her ghostly body so she can pull it easily.

It is going to be SUCH A SHAME when the lease that Alton towers have on this Ride and the spot in the castle grounds ends... when that happens. The mad house ride will be removed. And there will never be anything like this again. But that doesn't mean the story never happened A few miles from Alton Towers there is a few buildings. one being a Tavern. Close by there is a car park and a trail that leads off into the woods... A 15 minute journey into the woods. And you will find it... The chained oak... it exists... And my god was it unsettling to see it a few years back. The tree lies to the right of the path. A few misshapen steps lead up to it. Possibly causing one to fall if they are not good on their feet. The tree itself lay barren without leaves. Missing branches everywhere... and the the tree itself has grown through the chains. The chains will forever be there in the body of the wood itself. There's no plaque. No memorial. No nothing. It's just a tree on its own with chains spilling out from the bark. It's eerily quiet. The story of the curse itself might not be real. But the oak is real and is highly worth a visit if you find yourself up by the Towers
