Alucard (アーカード Ākādo?) is the main protagonist of the Hellsing series created by Kouta Hirano. He is the most powerful weapon of the Hellsing Organization which works against vampires and other such supernatural forces. Alucard is no mere vampire; it has been implied that he is the most powerful vampire alive and may be the most powerful character in the series, rivaled only by The Captain, Seras Victoria and Alexander Anderson.

Naw, I'd definitely watch the original. Trust me, Hellsing Ultimate is GOATed. It's a lot more serious than the Abridged (as to be expected) but the original is in my top 3.

Think a reflection of Alucard from the abridged, and you got Hellsing ultimate's Alucard. If I recall right, Alucard is more of a... Think of when Alucard goes Dracula in the abridged. He's got that kind of vibe, and sure, he treats Integra better, but he is still Alucard. The scene with him in the crypt from the abridged? Legit almost the same, just no TV. Doesn't help with the ghouls or anything, he legit just sits on his ass and waits for the one valentine brother to show up. Sitting in that throne, drinking his blood.
