It is a phenomena beyond the understanding of us foolish mortals, like the understanding of the universe, we are doomed to barely claw at the edges of understanding. Some humans are supremely capable of understanding, perhaps the likes of Stephan hawking, they may truly understand all of it, but the world takes them before they truly can. It is a frustrating and fruitless endeavour, but we try anyway, for that is what we have always done, we have fought the limits of our biology, we have let the deaf hear, the blind see, the paralysed walk, and even the comatose rise from a thought unending state of barely living. One day we may understand, for we have understood the impossible before. One day we will understand why the great unknowns have called so many things on bikes f***ing nipples. Anyway I wasted my entire break on this XD

The amount of spokes depends on the riders weight?

I believe it depends more on the usage type. Road bikes which don't require as much weight management as a MTB for example would need less spokes.
