Agreed. What I like about Alvarez is that he’s comfortable playing in any position upfront and he’s not an orthodox striker. He can play wide or move centrally whenever needed. In a way, his role is complementary to how Messi plays his game these days.

I am so proud of this guy. Lautaro is a wonderful player and a great striker, but this World Cup he wasn't in good form, and when Argentina needed a striker the most, this guy was there. He's truly a phenomenal player. He deserved to become a World Champion!
