This band, and especially this tune, stands on it's own feet. Reminds me of a blend of some -70's, and -80's band, an art long lost. A sound that's hard to put behind bars......

The keyboard player is amazing and subtle- she matches the lead singer’s vibe so well in playing and those haunting harmonies are gorgeous. It’s inspiring AF as a fellow keyboard player and singer

I guess I've been living in a cave for the last several years to only have discovered this amazing band just the other day, but, when I was much younger, I loved listening to Galaxie 500, Velocity Girl and the Pixies. And this sort of continues right where those older bands left off, and I absolutely love this sped-up Dean Wareham/Galaxie 500 "Snowstorm" vibe, combined with the verses that are a bit like "Here Comes Your Man" by the Pixies, while it's all being sung by a great vocalist that totally reminds me of Sarah Shannon :). It also makes me wonder if the band were a fan of Archie Moore of Velocity Girl fame, as well.

Perfection from Cape Breton Island, where they grow outstanding musical talent. I visited there about 15 years ago and saw a highschool band that knocked my socks off.

Also, I like this version the best. KEXP mixed it right, Molly and the band were at the top of of their game, with the reverb level just right, aggressive but not too much. The guitars were also aggressive but just right for this outstanding rock piece.

I was going to agree but I finally realized why some people click dislike, it's because youtube algorithm would sometimes autoplay songs and for you to control that you can dislike them so the algorithm will reconfigure. Happens a lot because some songs suggested by youtube algorithm aren't all too interesting especially if your friends have been using your account. Something to think about it. Regardless, people still seem to tolerate this song so that's good news judging by the low dislike number.

Funny how we end up rejecting those who actually genuinely love/loved us. And as a rare previlege, they show up again right about when you are at your loneliest and lowest in life, with someone new who's a starkly similar copy of that past self they've long overcome, in what feels like the most fitting metaphor for poetic justice or whatever other misimagined term you'd want to seek some solace in.
