Bands are under no obligation whatsoever to sound like the record. If you are older and grew up with lots of live music you understand this attitude.

This song is like a love letter I've been waiting for but when I get it it's written better than I ever dreamed and it's from someone way better than I thought I was waiting for. So it's a surprise love letter from a surprise person that I didn't expect but I'm absolutely happy it's them and it makes total sense.

To me they seem to be the Canadian Pop-ish version of Glasgow's Camera Obscura that in they absence are filling the void. With Tracyann on guitars and vocals, Carey on keyboards, Kenny on guitars, Gavin on Bass and Lee on drums. Of course, back in the late 90's. It fits perfectly.
