Many times we will lie and bend the truth so that we don’t let people down. Today, Jesus is reminding us to make our yes be yes and our no be no. To mean what we say. In other words, he is telling us to be mindful of what comes out of our mouths. Mastering this takes time and practice. It’s not something we develop overnight. But, you can start today by letting what you speak be the truth.
