Matthew Hudson if you pay attention to Mani when she performs LIVE. She has a tendency to stand still to control her breathing to execute her notes. This was not pre-recorded. Because her whistle note was not pre-recorded as well.

@@trevoraidann it was hun. She was very flat when she sang the “no no” part after someone’s verse. Lip singing doesn’t make you a bad singer but normani was flat a lot in this performance. They play that note for her everytime so that she can be safe. They’ve also played it in the wrong place before and one time they didn’t play it at all and she wasn’t singing. Also if you really want to know just go listen to the studio version. It’s sounds the same.

I appreciate what you're saying, but I am a real harmonizer, and I'm saying that all her high notes in this song sound different in different performances. not to mention that she missed the note one night, which obviously wasn't playback. you're right, a lot of singers use playback, but this tour? my girls mostly don't. and that note was not playback. I'm not 'accepting' it because I've seen multiple videos and seen the show live, and it's not true. thanks.
