🔴 In update 1.19 the pipe wrench can no longer fix a broken engine - however, the newly added blowtorch will 🔴 Humvees are added in 1.19. Engine requirements are a glowplug(not a spark plug) and a battery. No radiator. 🔴 Some cars are now automatic(R-N-D) including the humvees. 🔴 Jerrycans can fill both petrol and diesel cars as normal. You don't need specific ones.

If you don't want to carry a bunch of water bottles or canteens try finding an extra Jerry can and filling it with water. It can fill the radiator at least three times over, and you can also add chlorine tabs to it and use it to fill your bottles/canteens. Fits nicely in the trunk next to your gas.🤙 even if you don't plan on driving a car around, I'd definitely recommend keeping a Jerry can of water in your camp.

The car stays on when you leave it in neutral cuz it is not in gear, therefore you won’t stall. When you exit the vehicle in gear, it causes your vehicle to stall, that’s why it turns off. I’m not sure if it damages your car or not in game, but in real life, you do NOT want to stall your car. It does damage your car overtime.

Lmao, yeahhh they haven't quite sorted the clipping yet. One of the clips I left out here was a zombie that got stuck as they phased through my car - I shot them which somehow merged their dead corpse into the car even more. I hid the car, and when I signed in the next day they were thankfully gone xD

Thank you man, before this video I didn't have the motivation to find a car and fix it up then repair again some time in the future but now I see it is actually not that big of a deal. I did not think you can get unlimited petrol, thought you just pick it up randomly but now I know petrol stations have it. Before someone throws hate speech on me for saying this, obviously in real life you find petrol at petrol stations but not in games really. This is actually the second game I've played that has petrol at a petrol station. Usually the petrol station is just another place to loot without usable petrol pumps.

On official you pretty much need to Stesl one from another faction. They are pretty scarce on the ol'official servers. When you do get one, you have a good chance of Lagg Crashing it because you decided to drive as fast as possible and smashed into a Tree, Wall or anything solid enough to destroy your engine lol it is frustrating but fun when you learn to use them properly 🤟

Quick tip. Do not, and I mean do not, drive faster than you need. You increase the chances of getting big launched, or if you have terrible connection and graphical issues like I do, you can wrap yourself around something that only rendered in a second before.

Another way to counter the vehicle gyration glitch is to simply stop and go in reverse. That corrected things quickly in the past for me

Just managed to get my SF1000 thrustmaster rim and pedals to work in DayZ with the help of an Xbox emulator. Had to look a bunch of videos up to figure out the parts and I’ve finally figured out the jigsaw puzzle.. and the wheel ingame sync up with my wheel input just perfectly without any deadzones. Have booted up a local server and I’m just driving around, it’s a blast!

@@AlwaysStreams it works like a charm! And I can go high speed through corners because of the minimal input that I can control through my wheel. The movement from the game to my rim is 1:1. There’s no specific guides on how to setup your simrig to DayZ specific. I have my wheel stand in front of the desk, and my mouse and keyboard on that desk and the screen behind that, so in a pinch, I’d be able to get to my mouse and keyboard pretty quickly. But if I could make it work with my rim, anyone can.. I’m not really a techy bloke.

Im pretty sure it's a desync problem where im in the UK and my friends are in the US, but when we both started to drive a vehicle at the same time (( me in a Sarka, him in an M3S )), I keep hard crashing out the game :(... so only 1 car for me and my team at a time, unless they can drive without this nasty crash. Either way great vids man, they've been helping me get back into the game, I havent played since the 0.63 days.

I always stash stuff before entering a town. Usually keep stash spots in random locations to keep my supplies from getting stolen. Helps to have more than 1 location.

Yeah =] You need a spark plug in a generator too, and it'll also need fuel to work. Great for base lights though

Ermmm... on PC it's L. On console I think you have to press up on the Dpad and it'll switch between getting out of the car and turning the lights on. Without it in front of me it's hard to think ha

So I’ve been playing the game for a while now and I feel like I’m pretty far along. However, every single time I’m traversing through the map I always check the spawns that are on my I survive map online and every single time I go to them I never see you’re working vehicle. I've played this game for like 100 hours and I've NEVER found a single spawned car that actually works/missing parts and I've NEVER saw anyone driving one, the only car I ever saw that was actually working was in a semi-raided base but they couldn't get the car out. How many cars can exist in the map at the same time? it's soooo rare to find one for me especially if server didn't wipe recently...

Quick question I’m new to dayz a couple of weeks in , I use the iZurvive app but if I’m playing a community server and I look at isurvive map it shows cars , guns ,foods etc… is that the exact spawn point even in community servers or is this official ?

Hey. Unless it's been modded then the spawn locations should be the same. But this doesn't mean they'll always be there every time. It's just the places they can spawn. If it's on PC new spawn places can be added or removed by the owner, but they'll often let you know when they do. If it's console they don't really get changed, but the frequency of spawns may be adjusted(but they're usually increased and not decreased) Hope this helps =]

They only spawn in certain points, and are quite difficult to find. They're not common at all, but any vehicle you can use you'll be able to interact with by accessing the inventory when standing next to it =]

It will remain on the server you log out on. But other players can find it because it still exists when you're offline. Most people try to hide them, in the woods, in bases and so on.

Me and my freinds first car in dayZ Was a Yellow abandond sarka 120 We we Got raided by freshspawns But they only Got thurgh the first layer of our base I was visiting my freind at the time But i had my ps4 with me My charecter Got killed during the raid died due to there being two players Cause i thougt there was only one player when i died My freind let me use his charecter and i Got the 2 Monkeys with a shotgun And rebuild our base wall we moved the car and our important stuff away Soo the car survived we moved to a new location But then dayZ announced that there would be a wipe 2021 And we lost it all we had that base and area for 3 months And the car for about 1 to 2 months me and my freind were noobs at the time But we have never gained that much loot since And it was our biggest base we ever had ever build every time we try to make a base like it Its raided at the start of Its build Its sad You cant have a base without some monkeys trying to get in 2 days after Its been build 😂 Our longest record is 3 months 2021 and the fastest we have been raided is 2 days attempt/failed less than a week 2023

I been searching around trying to figure out how vehicles spawn and how to just find one, I ran through every vehicle spawn point in electro and cherno on an official server and couldn’t find one vehicle. Is it becuase they are all taken by players and the server has a limit on vehicles?

It's a mixture and a lot of luck if I'm honest, the spawn rates aren't high with most things and each potential spawn point can be empty most of the time. But the larger cities, specifically the two you mentioned have lots of foot traffic so it's likely they'd be the first to go. But there will definitely be vehicles if you keep checking the spots on the map. I'd recommend looking around Novodmitrovsk personally. The road that goes through there inland is filled with potential spawn locations and I usually always find something there =]

@@AlwaysStreams Well, I finally found a ADA in Bor. I got all the parts to get it running and was so excited. I began driving the car and nonstopped rubber banded at 5mph all the way to my base. When I got to the base I parked it inside and barely touched one of the walls and my car blew up and killed me with my base open. I think ima stop playing.

@@mycatthicc1182 Oh wow, that isn't good at all. I was literally just saying to someone else the cars need a lot of attention here. I wouldn't let it put you off them entirely, not every experience will be as tragic. Community servers with higher car loot spawns are always good ways to enjoy the cars without spending as much time trying to build them up.

I can't find any cars in the DLC that work! Every time I go up to it, with a radiator or something, there's never an option to have it add. Aghhh!

HI I CANT SEEM TO get inventory to show up in the cars im looking at. im wanting to use them as storage but cant find one to see it. Is it because the car isnt fixable or something like that? im on pc and chirn map. offical server, thx

Hey, not every car is fixable, when you approach the ones you can fix up you'll definitely get that inventory box, or even a name and a little red or green dot indicating its state. They can only spawn in the locations I mentioned on Izurvive, but they don't always spawn. Like everything else their spawn rates are pretty low, so they're not easy to find, but eventually you should come across one you can fix up!

so the other day we found an olga, we put in the engine parts, it had all four wheels, a bit of petrol and we filled the water tank, didnt over rev, but the cars engine kept braking down, we didnt even hit zombies or anything, especially when the light went yellow the first time we were extra cautious didnt drive too fast etc.. so i have no idea why did the engine brake if we did everything right as far as i know, is the olga just such a bad car? we drove around for about 6-7mins, and 4 of those we went downhill in neutral to not ruin the engine even further, but no success, ngl, i think it could've been a bug maybe, then again, im quite new to the game, so is there anything we missed or did wrong or something?

Interesting, what you described is a no water issue imo but if you filled it then it might have been a bug. Did anyone remove the radiator at all, even for a millisecond? That can empty it immediately. Cars in this game need a lot of attention. They are extremely buggy a lot of the time, but because of how useful they are, they usually are worth getting.

@@AlwaysStreams at first we didnt fill it up to full, like 3-4 full water bottles but we stoped at a water pump and filled it to the top, which was quite nearby, maybe a minute or two. now that you mention it, who knows, maybe one of my friends did take it out.. now that would be sad haha, but thats dayz i guess the lessons come hard but you never forget them

@@krytxps A few people have been commenting bad experiences with cars and I understand their pain all too well ha And yeah, it could absolutely just be an issue with the server. Sometimes mods have ripple effects on other things in really weird ways!
