We have to remember that this is jordyn wieners only gold medal of the whole Olympics after being world champion two years straight going into the Olympics and all around gold medalist both years. I watch this Olympics and the only thing I can think of is unfortunately this is the only time I’ve ever seen her compete nervous. All of her landings are just a little too big a little too overrotated or a little too Half to be counted as a correct. It takes a bigger person when you realize you’re out of any chance of an individual metal to still tear on your team and when you know you’re the one who is the Achilles’ heel. That is why she is one of my favorite gymnast. She took her chance and was grateful for the result she had even though her individual contribution was interstellar on that day. Before that for two solid years almost she was a solid competitor as he could come by. Thank of Simone biles before Simone bilesAnd you will know just how consistent she really was.

@@lottamarie9197 EHH, I love Aliya so much, she's my favorite gymnast competing right now, but I unfortunately really doubt that Russia will send her to Tokyo, unless she presents a 6.4+ D score routine and performs it consistently without any major errors. Spiridonova, Ilyankova, and Agafonova all have significantly stronger UB routines at the moment with realistic medal potential, and we can't forget about Urazova. You can see on her Instagram she's living a really good life, making a lot more money from all the private trainings she's doing, she can spend more time with her daughter... So we have to wait. If she really wants to compete in Tokyo, she has to seriously hit the gym in January, because looking at her recent photos, she really needs to tone her body and get to her Olympic shape asap, to prevent any possible injuries.

Am I the only one who noticed that while she was on beam in the team finals in 2016 somebody was on floor who actually had the same music as her in her floor routine just with little variations?

Isn’t her own floor music playing in the background of her beam coincidence i think not

She is TRULY a talent to be considered! Aly Raisman knows her stuff inside and out, and is an amazing Olympian and athlete-additionally, she just seems like a sincerely nice and cool person in-general. Just studying her proper techniques and skills is an exercise in and of itself; simply makes you sit up, study and take notice. She undoubtedly is one of THE greats in the business. Kudos to Aly and her ilk.

Her leo for the individual final in Rio reminds me so much of the team final leo from London. She did an amazing job on both occasions.

It's so heart-wrenching to know that only hours before she got on that beam, she was being abused by a psycho in her motel room.

In my opinion the rio team would’ve gotten gotten gold without Simone. They were just so rock solid especially because of aly and her leadership. Love Simone though!!!!

All she needed to win the bronze in the all around in London was to add the punch layout after the double arabian in her opening pass, then she would have gotten 2 extra tenths in difficulty and would have surpassed Mustafina by 2 tenths, meaning she would have won bronze.

10:10 showd her floor routine. Then 13:39 shows the bronze medal she got for beam. Then the video shows her beam routine 13:47. Then 17:24 shows the gold medal she got for floor. So this is a bit backwards at those points.
