Michael Emerson was fabulous as Ben Linus. You hate him, you love him, you feel sorry for him, and you also have a broken heart when he didn't go into the church at the end.

Michael Emerson is a great actor. He really deserved some of those awards. So did the show itself really.

I know Michael won an Emmy in 2009 for his portrayal as Benjamin Linus in Lost but he should've won EVERY year he was on the show! Not to mention he should win an Emmy (or even be nominated) for his portrayal as Harold Finch on Person Of Interest. IMO Michael Emerson is the best actor on television.

I've watched Lost in Greman. While i love his voice actor, the Original Voice is just... something else, it makes him a completely different character. It's a... more subtle, passive voice.

Michael Emerson is without a doubt a phenomenal actor well deserving of all the praise he gets, however this last year I really think Aaron Paul deserved the Emmy. Season 2 of Breaking Bad was just heart rending thanks to him, I don't think anything else during the 2009 year came close to his performance. We are lucky to have such amazing actors to choose from.

I wish people could see that even in Hollywood politicians are very often corrupted. No matter how much he deserved an Emmy, it didn't fit the great narrative of Hollywood. The Power's that Should Not be. Ben Linus was the Epitome of mankind. Good bad and flawed. But how dare he even suggest that there is a God who has a plan beyond that island. If you don't believe me, just watch the cancelled series Manifest. Great series. Suggesting that the Pagon gods are real is risky but how dare they even suggest that the God of Israel, the Christian God is real is going too far. It's almost like the Bible is true. The God of Israel is real and is the Most High and the God of all gods and they control Hollywood and will do ANYTHING they can to mislead mankind's quest for the True God...

An underrated scene in my opinion is when to prove that he has contact with the outside world he explains to Jack that the Red Sox won the World Series to which Jack scoffs, and then he shows him the highlight of the final out.
