"Traumatic" is the perfect word for it. The fallout has been pretty damn catastrophic lol. I'm so proud of the charity, it's almost at $50k! But I'm also so very sad that it even had to happen. The conversation happening because of how mishandled her death was/queerbaiting has been great for progress, but again - the fact that it even had to happen, that it had to come to this... Anyway, I love her. She seems so genuine. I just hope that FTWD gives her more to work with, she's so under-utilised there. But I have hope that she'll be one of those slow-burn badasses. *sigh* Lexa was so damn unique, what a waste.

+Amy Wright. if it wasnt fot this "toxic part of fandom" you wouldn't have season 4 of the 100!!! now that they are gone im not so sure there will be S05!! its like 75% of the viewrs stoped watching and the rating will go down and down.. at list FTWD will get that 75%...

this was one of the best interviews I've ever seen. both of them were sweet and showed the right amount of respect. They both were so genuine none of it was awkward. it was lovely! and Alycia she's so sweet and adorable, I love her so much.

The care and love and awe is so evident in the way she speaks and her amazement. Alycia is a true gem. The way the interviewer knows he has to wrap up the interview but Alycia stays and tries to continue and show her understanding and love of her fans and of Lexa is so heart warming. Such a wonderful person and Leksakru couldn't have asked for a better role model!

She responded in the most professional and positive way ever, I love her. Her face when she was told about the money raised was just so precious. She's such a cinnamon roll.

Thank you Ben for this!!! I'm so glad she's now aware of it and her reaction was amazing. I still think she doesn't realize the true extent of how much her character meant for so many fans and how Lexa touched people. She never ceases to amaze me, how she's always trying to look at everything from a positive perspective. It's a wonderful quality she has. I see only great things for her in her future. Ben, you are the MVP for us fans. Really loved how you brought it up and the way she reacted on it. We all know the writers etc. didn't intent it to be this way, but that is what happened and now they have to deal with the aftermath. Turning negativity into something positive is the key.

Thank you for acknowledging the fact that social issues were dealt with insensitively. It's great to have positive intentions, but we all know 'intentions' are different from actual actions, and if you want your 'intentions' to mean something, then it usually requires some work and research into what you're dealing with. I hope showrunners do proper research into the history of the social realms they are are expressing 'intentions' with, from now on.

It's rare to find someone who recognised so much about their characters impact and the formation of the character! I'm so happy that she knows about the moves that have been made by people supporting Lexa & Herself because no doubt she has seen some horrible things online over the last few weeks! xxx

"Traumatic" really is the word. everyone I know who watched it live was completely devastated (including me, ) and there are still people I follow on tumblr that I don't know personally but who have disappeared - I don't know if they just decided to stop posting or if they're dead. (and unless they come back and post sth again, I have no way of knowing). Even the writer has admitted by now that they completly underestimated this and made some wrong choices and that he has learned a lot from this and needs to educate himself more. But at least he has admitted that! which is something that *someone* sill hasn't done and apparently doesnt feel the need to do. also alycia is an incredible woman and actress and I love that she found it out.

She not only handled well the death of lexa on her own right, but here she kinda tried to save jroths and the writters public image, all the more powerfull because she acknowledges that they missed the whole social issues part. Classy as always debnam carey.

I love this guy! He really did us a favor. It seems like Alycia's answer to this issue is kinda rehearsed but then I believe her reaction personally is genuine. That she's surprised and has no idea how huge Lexa's impact to the fans specifically to the LGBT folks.

Alycia obviously isn't very well informed about this entire situation but I think her saying that they were "insensitive" shows she understands (somewhat) how stupid and not very well thought out the decision was also the whole part about it not being their "intention" to harm us is obviously scripted because she said it in every interview that Lexa was mentioned
