I hope that I don't overhype the season finale, but it is going to be intense and in my opinion the best episode of the entire series.

Yep, what a wholesome, happy episode! I sure am happy nothing’s going to happen to ruin this feeling!

I appreciated watching these episodes again, as none of us were ready for what's coming. The calm before the storm indeed, with so many wholesome moments and funny one liners, it really makes the contrast hit harder.

I still have a soft spot for this episode, equal parts hilarious and wholesome. Little did I know, it was made to lower my guard. And it succeeded swimmingly in that.

Yes, this episode really is one of the best in terms of character interactions. Just a hint from the Plantars that she may have irreversibly lost Anne's trust back on the Toad Tower is enough to make Sasha throw away her mask of a cynical manipulator and burst with anger, in contrast with the much more level-headed Grime. This friendship definitely means for her much more that she wants to admit even to herself but it seems she just doesn't sure that she knows how to interact with Anne and marcy without always bossing them around. And it's just amazing that no other than Toadie, who seemed to be more Mayor's furniture than a character, was the one who gave her a lesson and even some self-confidence in that area. Also, there is that collective photo in the episode's end... This is the happiest moment in life for any of these characters - both frogs, toads and humans alike. Oh, and the full version of Sasha's "Heartstomper" also exists and you can find it on KZfaq.

As I said in the comment in last week's, I absolutely love this two parter. I'd also highly recommend looking up the official promo art for the dinner, it's HILARIOUS

There was so much that you described perfectly about this episode! It is such an interesting twist that the mayor recently got a redemption arc that so many people didn't see coming and now it seems like Todie of all people was the 1st one to truely melt a little of Sasha's ice.

This is usually the episode where reactors realize "Cool, the girls are all set to go home, but oh wait, there's still an entire third season yet?" I like how in "The Dinner" Sasha tells Grime that he has to let what happened at Toad Tower go and get along with the Plantars, and then_she's_ the one who has trouble doing it while Grime has a perfectly pleasant time and bonds with Hop Pop over a mutual respect for history.

Dinner Party: Polly as she see's Sasha and Grime:"TAKE HOP POP! HE'S OLD!" "And the hidden daggers...." "BUT WHAT IF I NNEEEED THEM?!" Sasha:(to Sprig)"Ahem...." Grime:"Ahem, be niiicccceee...." Sasha:"AHEM, but this little JEEEeeerrrkkk....AHEM." Grime:"Ahemmmm...." Sasha:"AHEM!" Grime:"Ahem!" Sasha:"Ahemum!" Grime:"Ahemhem...." Hop Pop:"Does anyone need a cough drop?" Sprig:"A weeping dirt snake?" "That doesn't look anything like a weeping dirt snake! BAD GUESS, BAD GUESS! "Battle of the Bands" Sasha:"What if the bridge was in F Sharp instead of C Sharp?" I really like these two episodes and they're so good and no big deal is such a great song. Its so wholesome and i love grime just with his big scary smile coming out and then just VOILA a harp and then plays so good for 3 hours🤣🤣🤣The season 2 finale is great and im so excited for that reaction. just that... excited... no other feelings...😟😟😟

Sasha’s song heart Stomper has a full version, but they couldn’t put the whole thing in the episode probably because of time. It’s just as good as no big deal

The best 11-minute pair of the series, in my opinion. Great character growth, hilarious, and just very sweet. Sasha was truly the star of these episodes, which was very nice after her lengthy absence while we got to know Marcy. Next week is not just the best episode of the series, not just one of the best episodes of animation, but one of the best episodes of television. Seriously. If you've seen Breaking Bad, next week's episode is the Ozymandias of animation. I personally think it's even better than Not What He Seems, it's THAT good.

Wow. This came fast! Skipped breakfast to see this first! Another great pair of episodes! But heck, everything about Season 2 is so great! Peak season at its core. And I agree girl. 8 was an unfair score! We're so near the end of the season, which means the next episode is.............
