I think that was because of production. Alyssa by this point was starting to have a feud with Jade. After this, Coco and Alyssa didn’t really seem to care about their feud anymore until the “Girl look how orange you look” moment. The season seemed to be edited to look like that they were still mad at each other. Coco chose Alyssa to be on her team during the dance challenge because she is a dancer and it’s clear that they had started to mend their friendship as they didn’t even get into any arguments during rehearsal. Alyssa’s biggest drama was with Jade but that apparently wasn’t considered to be good tv by the producers.

I'm glad their friends now after all this. Even during the show you could see they were respectable enough to be civil and work together when they were teamed up over and over. They respect each other as queens despite their differences

These two crack me up so much when they're together I wonder what their relationship is now, cause their chemistry as friends could've been pretty exceptional both on TV and out of drag.
